I've seen a lot of transcendence and gathering storm, but forgotten project recommends bone plating and overgrowth. Which one is better? Bone plating and overgrowth give more livability. While transcendence gives CDR, which is great for her abilities. Also, gathering storm gives more scaling and more power late game, giving her great dualing potential at around 20 or 30 mins, which is great for low elo, since games last longer. At around 20 mins, the sorcery runes give you around 756 gold of stats, while the resolve runes give you something i don't know. Both seem really good, but which is better?

Hello,I really like Blade of the Ruined King on Fiora rather than Ravenous Hydra. Can you try it aswell? With new BotRK, you start destroying everything after botrk and trinity. Can you add a build like this too?

Hi.
As Fiora I always have mid-late game mana problems... sometimes I get Blue buff when I'm fed but I'd like to know what's your suggestion to solve mana hungry problems. I've been thinking of using over or over . Which one do you think is better?

Oh, I wanted opinions on rune setups:

Also I feel like the matchup difficulty for Quinn and Kayle should be swapped. I find it easy to zone Quinn if you just reset the vital points and constantly use Q to proc it, and then W if she tries to E you. Kayle is a different story.

Dear MrMad2000,

Thank you for checking out my guide, I hope you learned a new thing or two from it.

As for my opinions, for greater mark of armor penetration, I feel that it gives up way too much early game trading power. Assume that the enemy has 40 armor at level 1, and you use armor penetration runes, the enemy will take about 77% damage from you. Without armor penetration runes, the enemy will take about 71% damage, which is 6% less. However, if you take 9 AD runes, you will hit 9 AD damage more per auto attack, as well as about 10 damage more from your Lunge, which is more than the 6% damage assuming that you have 70 AD at the start and your Q deals 80 damage. Greater Mark of Attack Damage is actually worth more than greater mark of armor penetration, especially during the early game stage where you should make yourself as strong as possible to avoid losing the laning phase.

As for Greater Quintessence of Attack Damage, I understand that it is more of a preference for people to go attack speed for easier CS-ing and easier vital procs. However, there is nothing wrong with going Greater Quintessence of Attack Damage, because of Fiora's high scalings. But Greater Quintessence of Attack Speed allows you to stack your Fervor of Battle higher and has more raw damage because it multiplies your auto attack damage by 14% instead of adding a fixed 8 AD damage. But I do recommend people go attack speed rather than attack damage because it has more room for error.

As for Quinn and Kayle, the reason that I put Quinn as a higher threat than Kayle is that, Quinn has an escape ability and higher mobility than Kayle. Quinn can easily stay out of range with her Vault, which is a hard ability to parry, especially if she is very close to you, while harrassing you with her auto attack which can be enhanced by her passive. But for Kayle, if you manage to Riposte her Q, which is an easier skill to parry, she becomes very vulnerable as she does not have any escape abilities except for a brief speed buff.

If they managed to get ahead, Quinn has more options than Kayle in terms of snowballing and shutting you down. Quinn can easily freeze a lane if the minions are pushed towards her, while Kayle's auto attack is an area of effect damage. When they try to freeze, you can pressure Kayle and bait her to use her E easily, which will push the lane when she goes for CS, but you cannot do that with Quinn. Also, Quinn has an ult that is very useful for snowballing, because of the immense movement speed buff, she can easily chase you and other allies down and kill them easily if she gets ahead. However, Kayle does not have the mobility, and cannot snowball as hard, which makes her easier to shut down with a 3-men dive or just a simple gank.

I hope that I have replied you well, if you have any other questions, feel free to ask.

Thank you for the response. I was hoping that when you get enough time you could expand the matchups and just write a short sentence or two stating the win conditions. I don't have enough experience playing top lane and I don't know how difficult the matchups are, so I'm struggling to snowball and transition into teamfights well for now. But every game I play I'm learning a little more which is good. ^-^
