Personal preference. I have no problems CSing with Nasus and I love extra MS on him (especially if you engage from the side or behind on enemy carries or I have to run when I push too deep and enemy try to flank me and zerg me).

If you prefer taking the dmg to minions, by all means do it.

Also I know the guide ain't updated, when I got spare time i actually prefer to play than to write about it. When I get some days off work I'll ship an update to the matchups (which I know is required).

Thank you very much for your response! :D I see how that could be good either way.

I didn't see much explanation on why you take Wanderer Over Savagery. Could you go into detail about your mindset in doing so? Love the guide! Thank you. :)

Very nice guide. However, in addition to the champions you've already listed as outdated, there are some more out-of-date strategies against specific champions. Some examples:

- Maokai's ulti no longer deals AoE, damage, it's more of an initiation tool.
- Shen no longer deals any kind of damage when hitting you with his knife. It is no longer a targeted attack, and he is much more AA oriented.
- Vladimir no longer stacks his E. He charges it instead. It's also blocked by minions.

Other than that, had lots of fun stacking champions by 25. Nice work!

First thing I want to say is this: thank you for making this guide. I started to really enjoy playing League of Legends because of Nasus and today he is my main top and favorite champion, with a fair share of it thanks to this guide as it taught me how to play him.

I noticed that I also tend to pick champions with similar mechanics to his Q, like Sion and Veigar, as I enjoyed Nasus that much. I even tried making a guide on my own hahahaha.

Love the guide. It helped me make an end game monster/bruiser.
Look at adaptive helm in items, gives the same as spirit visage, but the passive is a huge help against ap champs with continuous damage output on their abilities. Lessens the damage and give you a massive push/kill advantage

there are a few HUGE matchups missing, the new Urgot and Kayn for example, there are a couple others missing as well but they do not immediately come to mind. Would love some tips on urgot smashing.

LOVE YOUR GUIDE and i hope you roll out a runes/masteries/items update soon since there have been changes after the guide was written, but SUPER helpful!!

I too love an ability with 1.1 second cooldown.
Imagine this on URF.

Because its the lane pressure splitpush Nasus tactic. They also take different runes and start with doran's rings. It works great actually, because it lets Nasus to be dangerous early at a cost of his lategame. So you aren't a pushover early, but the game is not about stacking anymore then. I was thinking about adding it to the guide, but after some thoughts I decided its a completely different way of playing him. This guide is about stacking Nasus not splitpush nasus. That's about it really.

I would have to rename the guide and nearly completely rewrite it if i wanted to have that here.

Why does Neace use E max Nasus in high elo?

i'm guessing safer farming. I've done it a few times when facing champs like urgot, teemo, kayn, heimerdinger and other champs that can often shove you way behind your tower. you get the gold gains that you need to buy enough items to shove them back and start your stacks.. you will not max your stacks this way, but you will get the items you need in order to get stacks ultra fast. I chewed through a kayn today doing exactly that.

This guide is helping me A LOT, thank you. What do you think of the new doran's ring?

Just shipped a big update for Season 7 for chapters 1-11 (didn't touch matchup sections).

It's mostly about taking Triforce instead of Gauntlet, Lethality marks and 2 MS quints. Also taking Randuin again instead of DMP.

Basically my 2nd runeset became the 1st one (and vice versa), also added some quality of life tips and reorganized chapters a little.

Please report if you happen to find any new typos or old descriptions. When it comes to matchup I become a victim of my own wall of text. I'll get to it when I have some time (gotta patch out the Chain Vest into Warden's Mail again WRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR - done it before the other way round already like season ago!)

Anyways cheers guys, happy stacking!

Hi, Lately I've been seeing a lot of Nasus players using the lane push strategy. I personally disliked it since the last 3 Nasus players who tried that cost the game. And the fact that most early game matchups with Nasus is just really bad, or in other words I consider it a troll build. What are your thoughts on it?

Depends what do you mean?
Pushing early as Nasus is bad, taking turrets mid game obligatory. I normally take two before I decide to join my team (that's assuming im winning the lane - which happends in most games). I have to be really super fed to try to push inhi turret on my own (on my elo I get zerged very fast if I decide to do that).

On lower elos people do really weird stuff tho, split push stragegy is not something that I find effective, its better to join ur team and take other turrets with them than trying to push 1 lane at all costs.

I understand that split pushing can sometimes pay off with an unexpected win (PEKE!), but I'd rather stick with my team in most cases.

Alright then, the actual one of the strategy is actually listed here in MF in the s7 guides it's this one. Here's an example gameplay video done by Karp. I appreciated the reply and currently your guide made me main nasus. Real big thanks.
