great build

Cool guide, I've been experimenting with Taric for a while and here's some issues I saw. Not building a sightstone seems like a big sacrifice for the build. Control and trinket wards won't give enough vision.I am also having issues with mobility for the build. The tier 1 boots and ghost isn't enough to me. Ghost was recently nerfed, and the T1 boots only helps early. Having ghost to ramp up for 2 seconds then 8 seconds to finish engaging/disengaging doesn't sound realistic. For mobility I swapped in Mobility quints and sacrificed a Thornmail for a dead man's plate. The last gripe I had with the build was the wave clear. As a support, you don't have to worry about it early on, but it gets more important as the game goes on. The E helps, but I had to eventually rely on Thornmail, which isn't easy to use with the way creep aggro is.
On the plus side, If you aren't bogged down by those negatives, Taric becomes the literal god you said he would be. In a winning situation, I was able to ignore a Lucian while taking an inhibitor. I was able to duel a fed Rengar, although I couldn't kill. The build was simply fun.

Edit: There is also anti-synergy between Frozen heart and thornmail, since the attack speed reduction elongates the thornmail passive damage. Gunblade is an interesting idea.

Nice guide! It had good info and I found it entertaining. It may be unconventional, but that makes it all the more interesting :)

Best mobafire guide you'll ever find,very informative, can tell that the person who typed this took a very long time to think of such a amazing build and idea like who else would ever think of going 4 thornmails on taric,and not to mention,the runes and masteries...just amazing..tried it out just earlier and it was amazing.I easily 1v9'ed.Not only did the armour help in killing everyone including my teammates,it also give me,the player cancer.Overall,i would recommend this build to everyone and anyone who wants to main this amazing champion or just have fun.12.9/10 would try this build again!

i think the guild/build is not good,
first of all, top lane dont need to have an Ancient Coin, cooldown is not very usefull on taric because of this passive (when you have more cooldown the passive give less). and the masteries are not good for a top laner.
second just armor without health wont give you any chance agaist true dmg, ap or lethalty builds.
third the masteries are not good for top laner.
one thing that taric must do is auto attack and for this especialy late game he needs movments so he cant sell his boots without have any momvent bonus.
the ***asian mastery not that useful when you bot late.
support should buy sightstone especialy in the early game, you think it wont be usefull later, sell it but you should recomend it.

last thing i dont realy get the build itself idia. as with thormail you may do more dmg to adc then he do to you when he attacks you, then why should you buy frozenheart wich will reduce the ammount of attacks per sec he does.


i think you can make a better focus armor with Taric as i think he one of the more veray character that can be AP, AD, Tank, solo laner/support and even jungler.
