I don't recommend Youmuu's anymore for a couple of reasons:

Firstly, I think that with the nerf to its attack speed and attack damage, the only utility it provides that other items do not is the movement speed buff, which, although helps with initiating fights and chasing enemies, is pretty hard to utilize properly because it does not actually help with killing enemies. You would have to know how to pick fights for the item to help, which makes it no longer a recommended item.

Secondly, with the AD nerf to Black Cleaver, if you go BC and GB, it would mean that you miss out on quite a bit of offensive stat. Both Maw and BT give more AD and sustain(when Maw procs), and are both better suited to keeping you alive if you happen to enter a wrong fight.


Next, I believe that no doubt you worked hard on getting Gold last season, but do remember that the current season only started a couple of months, you still have a lot of time for you to improve and climb. Practising is the only way to get better as a player, you just have to dedicate a lot of time to it. Don't think about why you cannot get back to your previous rank, think about what you can do to improve so that you can climb back to your previous rank.

On the other hand, I do believe there is something you can do to try to improve.

Firstly, you can try to rewatch your gameplays to look out for any mistakes you can find, and then ACTIVELY remind yourself during your games not to make them again, until it becomes common sense for you. i.e overextending, chasing into fog of war.

Secondly, you can have your games recorded for somebody else to do a vod for you, I know a Discord server here that provides free vod reviews for players who submit their plays.
