Your question is a little vague so i will answer it to the best of my ability and if you are still unsure then feel free to ask me again. There are a lot of options for runes on vayne. (I don't know if you saw but i have four rune pages on my guide.) I have spent at least a month playing with each precision rune (not including conqueror). I find that lethal Tempo fits my play style and the guinsoo's build very well as I like the super fast autos and increased dps. However; Fleet footwork and Press the Attack are also very strong, it depends more on personal preference and your opposing laners. I find there is no rune that falls under the category of "this one is the best,". Press the Attack is good if you prefer burst, or have a favorable lane (say your facing a twitch or another weak adc. Also a strong early game support on your team like Brand or Pyke can make a lane favored for you.) Fleet footwork is great for surviving a tough lane or providing extra survivability in fights. The healing and movement speed are quite useful.
These are the standard options on Vayne. If you want less conventional runes then Kleptomancy is viable on the current patch. I have only played with it a little but it is very strong. The optimal way to use it is to "Auto, Q, Auto" if you time this correctly you will get klepto procs from both autos.
