Yupp. Ap is prob more viable after all the ratio buffs he got after i wrote this guide ;).

But it is still a fun troll build.

After playing a few games with this build, I have to say I'm losing confidence in it, your ult just makes you a target. AP Kennen can use Zonya's to save himself, but Hybrid Kenny shouldn't and can't, your auto-attacks proc marks and shred Magic Resist. That having been said, this build needs a defensive item early on.

However, using your ult in a smaller skurmish makes you a nightmare, so I think this build would be fun in Dominion.

At first, I thought poorly of this build. Kennen is a Mage. However, many people overlook one key aspect of Kenny, unlike many mages, his auto-attacks are useful due to Electrical Surge's passive. With a some toying around, this became a very fun build. Here is the build I used (DPS/AP) and recommend:

Start with Doran's Shield
Amplifying Tome (you are a mage) built into Malady
Sorcerer's Shoes
Guinsoo's Rageblade (The combination of attack speed and AP work nicely)
Fiendish Codex/Stinger built into Nashor's Tooth
Madred's Bloodrazor
Lich Bane

Now to try this in a game...

I disagree on the thundering shurinken topic i think you should leave it on level one and scale W instead because let's face it there is no way Q is better in a teamfight considering you LACK aoe dmg
after you E+ R if you don't W in the teamfight its not an AOE stun
and if your W is low level you miss on the aoe damage you already lack
i would consider changing that even though maxing Q first will give you a whole lot better harassing (considering the lower CD)
its just that the W is way more stable source of damage

I like the fact that it is an alternative build and i consider the tanky option quite reliable as well

i haven't played it but it seems viable ,

do you really need more of an explanation for a skill like thundering shuriken?
