I would recommend getting flat AD on your runes, so the 2nd passive is activated as well, and you dont have to get a Hextech if you really dont want to... :)

I like this build first game i did i when 16/3/10.

My build is pure AP, i feel good doing it, in thie way its hard i lose a game.
With this build the 2ns passive is activeted, not in the maximum power, if you want to max it just do a Hextech Gunblade. Thanks for the comments.

Good guide, So far from what i've seen in other good guides as well, AP is the way to go, making Akali one of the deadliest chasers in LoL . +Rating. +1

Because you don´t even eactivate Akalis 2nd passiv.
In a teamdfight when you will do aprox 2000 dmg, you will have 30% spellvamp with hextech gunblade, which means 600 hp gained. This is just not worth that 57 magic resistance.
Also you will farm much better, you can stay longer in lane, push towers down faster.

10AP from improved ignite vs 4% damage reduction.

On AP Akali build i would still go for 9/21/0. That 4% is a flat bonus that cannot be removed by ArP or Mpen so it is quite handy.
