I would say that manamune could be a good idea if you are missing carries on your team (for the turret damage).
Archangel 4 a manamune? Improve the auto-attack and give you
advantage when pushing towers, except that also continues to accumulate
mana 4 tear. It's a crazy idea? Thanks.
As you can see, I haven't written any explanations, but it will be done. The reason why I chose 3 points in Meditation is because of mana is a problem early game. At least if you like to harass a lot. I would rather have more mana regeneration than 2% extra experience - as both of these talents (or mastery points) only helps early game (for ryze that is) anyways.
The reason why I chose Ghost and Flash is because of Ryze is a target who normally will be nuked first, and it is needed to survive. All though, you won't always be able to survive, and the 10% "death reduction" will help a lot late game, and I rather have those 3 points in "death reduction" than 4% more hp and mana reduction or even experience. Besides, it gives you 4% hp and mana reduction of your base hp/mana.
The respawn time is increased (I believe it was last patch), which means that these -10% spawn time will help a lot, and might even prevent your team from losing a turret, etc. But by all means, yes. You should always do whatever you can to survive. Sometimes you will have to take chances, and your attempts might fail at some point.
