Very very low amount of mana to spam your skills, you get good amounts of AP/MPEN in most builds but 2 of your builds are insanely low on mana, aswell as being very squishy in both.

And you get a Rylai's which is just plainly ******ed on Anivia seeing 2/3 of her damaging spells slow already you should NEVER need it. And if you want the health from it then get a RoA instead - Far more effective for the price and helps out with some mana aswell.

Pretty good guide, but I feel like you're putting too much reliance into your Clarity.

Your first build has no bonus mana regen, and only 1900mana capacity. The second build uses a Chalice of Harmony, which I highly recommend you replace with an Archangel's Staff. The Staff provides far more mana regen, and a large mana supply, and of course the AP conversion. The third build has the least mana of all, with a 10mp/5 bonus and 1500 capacity.

This can lead to some serious issues with extended battles, where you will find yourself out of Mana and having to return. As one would expect, that is very undesirable.

Also, why the need for Clarity? Clarity gives you a nice instant boost in mana, sure. But early on, if you need mana, you could instead use Teleport. This would allow you to regain all your mana, and health, and shop for items, with minimal lose of time due to having to travel slowly (and Anivia is a particularily slow champ) back to your lane.

From my experience with Anivia I have felt that building for the late game (Items like arch angels staff) put a huge disadvantage early game, which is what anivia is best at. To be honest the reason I feel you don't need a huge mana pool is because if you DO well early game, you should have the golem buff during any sort of team combat if you are a good enough player. Another reason I choose clarity opposed to Teleport is still the loss of some experience, and it's what gives you the advantage, along with flash to trick your opponent into being aggressive. With an extremely slow CC and the movement speed, you need those "aces" for many games to be a early game powerhouse.
