VERY well written guide, I actually always start with boots on shen because even though hes a ninja, He's slow as hell without movement quints. Ill have to try soul shroud on him.

Thanks for the advice, I just published a new version that's more appealing to the eye. Also, I am a hardcore Randuin's Omen fan. I still buy it from time to time, therefore I added some additional information to the tooltip in the items section.

Things I like:
1) The stats, whether or not I agree with your item choice(since I use slightly different items)the stats prove this to be an extremely HP effective build.
2) the title. honestly? that's why I'm even here lol
3) the explanations. a LOT of guides just write a "guide" with items and spells and **** and hope it'll get up'ed cuz the items are good. You actually explain in depth. good job there.

things I don't like:
1) no randuin's. I know it's been nerfed to death but remember, the only reason people ever considered shen to be OP is because he can cross map save, taunt entire enemy team, and randuins disable full team. no matter how bad the stats are, as long as riot leaves that active alone, it should be rushed.
2) starting with shoes. Personally, I prefer Doran's shield because it provides great early game stats and it keeps you alive pretty well. shen isn't pot dependent since he can heal via vorp. People usually get shoe for better lane control like Singed or Katarina
3) I actually disagree with that bro up there, Rylai's is an AWESOME item on shen. provides AP for your 3 spells which gives it a little buff(although not much but consider the cooldown on 2 of them). 2 of them will always slow. One of them will actually slow for the full 35% while the other can get the entire enemy team if done right. again. shen CC enemy team=good. but that's just me.
4) yeah. pictures. makes reading wall of text less work and more fun. for things like Shen it's(replace ( ) with [ ]) ((shen)). that bro up there explain icons. it's just playing around with it and whatever.

Alright thank you. I had to put the 2 points into Evasion in order to reach the next tier. I figured it may be more useful than Strength of Spirit because Shen has no mana for the bonus to work. Rylai's was just something I've been playing around with and decided to include in the guide. Thanks for the input, and I'll have to check that out soon.

Nice guide! But dodge chance is useless on most tanks since they don't have any/much dodge in the 1st place. Maybe equip Shen with some dodge runes and a ninja tabi? However, I don't think Shen should use Rylai's scepter. Rylai's scepter is kind of useless when you got only 2 skills that are offensive. To put in pictures, you have to type in [ img ][ icon = etcetc size = etcetc] in order to post pictures.(Ignore all spaces except for the single space between the icon name and the size) Hope it helps!
