Thanks Assyrian, your Build is working really good for me, i just keep my mastery talents at offensive. I like the Life Steal.

@Jintaq Your bad, I believe you have not even tried this build to even see if it is a viable build. I have played olaf this way, and oviously depending on who you are facing you will switch up a couple items, and or trade items for different ones late game.

This is a pretty sick build, and I suggest it to anyone who plays olaf as a dps/tank.

It provides the nessacary slow and damage to kill any fragile heros early game, while still escaping with your life.

Late game he will just be dominating, pop ragnoraok and start reckless swiwging, while your team pops off the other team.

Good work on the build. I like it.

@ lordbong

lol at so much anger. and no i have not tried it in game. it may be a viable build, but not a maximized build imo. i have my own way of playing olaf which i spoke about before and just felt that this build isnt the strongest. to each his own, i just state my own opinions here. thats why there is a vote feature. could be worse, i coulda just given a TD without any explanation.

Sorry mate, but I just don't see a lot of things working together in this build. Olaf is a DPS chaser. He needs damage and health to get the most benefit out of his skills.

For runes, I recommend damage, crits, dodge, hp, or cd reduc.

For abilities, your undertow is too good to postpone. Vicious strikes has higher priority to me than reckless swing also.

Masteries are a little wonky. Focus on either a 21-9-0 or 9-21-0, I prefer the latter, build to get the most bang for you buck in this ganker.

As for items, boots are personal preferences. He does not need executioners and atmas though. Olaf need damage, health, chasing items, and lifesteal. Look into frozen mallet, bilgewater cutlass, and youmuus. Your item build just has too much tank for me.

Didn't mean to be so critical in one post, but I didn't want to give you a rating without explaining it. This is just not a way to maximize olaf to me.

Which he has both in this build + speed to catch up, cant really be a DPS chaser, if you're slow can you?

you recommend damage (which I have) crits, which you said is cool I guess but you said not to use Atmas and Executioners, BTW Atmas 2% is nice with warmogs + Vicious your attack dmg goes up nicely enough! I also said Executioners can be changed for Bloodthirster which in turn gives u more lifesteal and DMG end game, but early game definitely Executioners for its price! The lifesteal from that and from Vicious helps you jungle if needed easily, + stay in your lane longer or just out of your base.

BTW Armor eats damage, and having a high amount of health lets you sit there and be able to tank, not saying be a primary but allows you to stay in the fight long enough to dish out enough dmg to kill the enemy team!

As for boots... lmfao you can tell a noob when the enemy team has 5 melee and the guy is wearing berserker boots okay. Boots make a difference believe it or not and they do change games, or at least change the outcome of your survivability which in turn changes the outcome of the game

A ganker needs to be fast first off, and Utility/Defense is the way to go, especially because I have dmg runes, the HP you get makes your Vicious do more dmg by the way, so it's nice to have!

The armor pen you get from offense is cool the 5% extra dmg is cool I guess too, but in the long run, id rather catch up to ppl and hit them more and get away successfully!

and damage doesn't affect reckless swing so meh, it's just a nice armor ignoring damage every few seconds, so if you get a nice crit and then follow with that, you're good! Olafs Ulti Passive gives him Armor pen, so armor pen runes are stupid IMO cooldown runes are useless imo, unless you really wanna headbutt your keyboard more.
