Very nice build, i like the amount of attack speed+lifesteal+crit chance and crit damage it would be awesome and adding Highlander to it just would rock.
The lifesteal in my opinion helps a lot cause you heal yourself and with your attack damage and your attack speed you´ll heal very fast.

Just played Yi for the first time and owned pretty hard. Was using PD x2 IE Stark's Manamune(little extra mana went a long way towards my survivability) and Black Cleaver. Worked really well. 23/10/9 The enemy team didn't know what to do with me and by the end I was able to go up against 4 of them at once and score a triple kill. It was crazy good.

With this items you have very very much more attak speed as the maximum (2,5) and then your ultimate, that give you 80% AS, was for nothing...

Yi is the best backdoor champ, he is even faster then sivir^^.

And he is also a very good splitpusher, so teleport is a must if you play yi on splitpush.

i agree with most of your build but i'd say teleport isn't to bad for yi. It helped my team win in quite a few matches as i went backdoor with it to destroy their base and still had ghost and highlander left for a quick gettaway. Other then those situations its indeed not that good but its still more usefull then the other 'bad' spells.

A great build.But maybe Boots of Swiftness could be better instead of Berserker's Greaves.

The most important things i think are the att. speed and life steal and cleanense help you to survive against stuns and fears that might result in die for Yi.
