AS orianna Sucks...she plainly sucks. Why would you want to get near to your enemy? Orianna is squishy, which also will bring me to another point but later on that.
If you go to your enemy with your cute little attack you're going to ge ripped a new one. Yeah Orianna is THAT squishy. Even a Sona can own an AS-Orianna. Those who voted this guide down are trolls. I'm 100% sure they are.
Even more when someone is saying that Rod of ages is useless (I could rage from that!). Orianna is (as mentioned above) squishy like hell, and she needs to stay some time in lane! So what Item is better then Catalyst of the protector? (And if someone tells me to get heal I'm going to punch him right through my PC). Hextech is also a bad choice! You may ask now why....because you're only doing AoE-Damage which would cap it at 33% of the AoE-Damage you're doing and of that the 15%...that's just nothing.
To the Orianna who said that farming early game is not possible...WHAT?! You could even farm without any items at lvl 6 Q+W+E+Q and all minions are dead so you're again just trolling.
Those who say to NOT get voidstaff...seriously? Since you're not getting sorceres boots, but ionians you simply HAVE to get more Mpen, or your damageoutput mid-lategame is just...how do I describe it? It plainly sucks
One point though...try to use AP/lvl glyphs. You will get kills as soons as you hit lvl 6 and get your ulti. At that time those glyphs are better than Flat AP, so your not loosing anything by using those.
One thing to note though. I've seen this mistake in the vid and you're not mentioning it (which doesn't decrease the quality of this guide in any way).
The Q-Movement of the ball is pretty slow, so you just MUSTN'T forget to take the ball with you after a teamfight, to chase down those lowhealth runners. If the ball is like at max distance to you it won't make it in time to get the enemy that is in front of you...it just won't...so use Command: Protect. The movement speed of the ball is way faster with this skill.
You, sir, are dumb.
This is not coming from an overly experienced hero (just level 30), but I have found this build to work out well for me in normal games.
Oh... and why... right: a) I think AP is more important than cooldown with Oriana - better she get a hard hit in every 10 seconds than 3 weaker hits. This decreases the chances of her getting killed when she engages. b) its nice to have than instant mana and health at level... no need for the rings... and c) I never get to the void staff before we win, I get one item for it and boom game over lol.
