just to be a nitpick... you have 20 lvls? And also, you get pillar of flame to lvl 7? :D

anyways, conflagration is better than pillar of flame. Maybe you are just better with the skillshot, but in my experience, conflagration is just better overall.

E is priority, i like that :)

I like your skill orded, your summoner spells, your runes. (only the glyphs would be crd/lvl in my case)

I don't agree with the items though.

First of all, mana regen. You only ever get the ring, nothing more. I usually start out with meki pendant and two health pots. that gives you more ehp than the ring, more mana regen and less ap. but as you said yourself, the scaling is terrible anyways, so your damage comes from your magic penetration runes.

The shoes are a no brainer of course...

After ring and shoes, you get a rod. The rod is a strong item, for sure. but i just don't see the room for it in my build. do you want mana? get the tear. do you want health? get a giant's belt. do you want ap? why the hell would you want ap? your scaling sucks anyway!

After that, you get rabadon's. You say your scaling sucks, yet you just go for the biggest ap item there is? There are so many better items for a caster who does not need insane amounts of ap to be effective.

For instance a hextech revolver. This is of course my playstyle, not everybody agrees on that with me, but I just like the lane staying that comes from mana regen + spell vamp.

Another fun item is Rylais. i know, you said you don't like it. Think of it as an aoe slow. For instance, when you conflagrate a target that is ablaze, you slow everyone who gets hit by the conflagration. That IS powerful. I don't care that I kill one target really fast. There will not always be just one target. If there are two people, you can not kill them both as quickly. Another big reason, if your ult slows, it will become harder for people to actually walk away from each other to make your ult useless. Also, this is the item that i get instead of the rod for survivability. it already gives hp and ap, and i get my mana from the tear.

After these items, you might want to go for the rabadon. i mean... with the items i proposed, you get mana regen, spell vamp, aditional cc (you said brand lacks it, so why not get it), healrh, mana and ap. the only things you might be missing is cdr, maybe the hourglass for the amazing active, or some items for more regen and ap. (cause there is never enough of those :)) )

so you can go for a final build of archangel, spell pen boots, WotA, rylais, the evil tome and a rabadon, if the game really lasts that long.

The first four are pretty much a must, the fifth is becoming a must lately, since I really do need the CDR to be able to stun with sear alone (the elixir of brilliance helps) and rabadon.... Lately, i feel like I am dealing enough damage without it already. Maybe an Hourglass would be more efficient.

If the game is not going so well, you might opt for stuff like banshee's, quicksilver sash, frozen heart, thornmail even... but yea, every build needs to be tweaked towards the situation you are in, and brand is a good champion for this case, since his abilities do not need much ap to be powerful.

From one Brand guide maker to another, this looks like a very solid build. And I'd recommend ignoring poopmonster12's vote. He's trolled several Brand guides today, including mine and Mr_Sully's.

Mine as well =( *Sigh*.

Good guide btw.
