zilean is my main. and this is the guide that helped me to become a great zilean player. thank you so much for the guide. although i dont buy deathfire and raba.

Hmmm, I've actually been going back to your old build, Tr4ce, and it's been winning me a ton of games, but I think I may turn back to this build.

The only thing about this that I don't like is that you have no magic pen. I do like my bombs to hit harder, but I guess that Zilean hits fairly hard with rabadon's.

Even so, i have a couple of problems with this build: 1) Every tank always gets aegis, so why should I? 2) Shouldn't I just get a guardian's angel and a rabadon's? I suppose I could fix this by telling the tank to get aegis, so I can get both guardian angle and rabadon's.

Ok I've tried it and I think its very nice because in the early game there was never many action for me and you don't notice if you got 15% cdr in the beginning or not. So in my opinion the extra gold and ap is more important in the beginning.

Finally people who give me some feed-back

@The Chief- Well the main reason I get Death Fire is for the cool-down. I'ts also great for people who get really tanky [It does a lot of damage to them] just drag that to the first slot, that way you can click 1 [hopefully that makes it easier to use]. But trust me, you need DFG.

@Zureh- Money may be an issue, but you do get 50 gold for assisting. Hopefully that helps, and yeah try not to ks. But at the same time if hes running away, getting the kill is better then letting someone go. This build revolves on getting assist so your scores are great.

+1, very nice build. I am doing very well, won 4 of 5 games with it.

What do you think about getting kages lucky pick before ionian boots? Because as Zilean you dont get many kills so you would get more gold to get your full build faster. I will try this out.

Or should I do kills? I ever try to not killsteal because i think the carry need the kills more than me. Here my last stats:
1-3-5 win
4-5-6 lose
1-5-17 win
2-3-10 win
0-2-18 win

Tried it out and it worked great but...


What are some more support/defensive items you would recommended? Because some people don't like using click-items like Deathsfire Staff.
