My definition of Ultimate Tank is much different from yours. An Ultimate Tank is a tank (which he is, he has ~4000 hp and high armor) which is able to contribute highly to team fights through a fair amount of damage output. Malphite has more than enough hp to make up for the fact that I focused on armor pen runes, and for that exact reason, team fights. However, now that I look at it it would be beneficial to exchange the Glyphs of Alacrity to magic resistance.

You tried to nail me about putting in Atma's Impaler because it isn't a tank item. I beg to differ, highly. Atma's Impaler, while raising your armor stat, give Malphite attack damage based on his max hp. This item was made with tanks in mind. This is what turns Malphite into more than just a tank that sits in the middle of a team fight and does nothing except take hits.

Also, the reason for the main focus on his armor is because of his ability Ground Slam. This ability, if you read, does damage based on a percentage of his max armor. You do have an argument about my lack of magic defense though, however Force of Nature normally does it for me.

In summation, I accept your argument about my lack of magic resistance. You also made it clear I have to put my definition of Ultimate Tank in the Introduction.

When saying ultimate tank, I think of main tank... With a lacking amount of magic res and offensive masteries/atma's impaler make me think this is more of an off-tank malphite build. Either change the titel/description to offtank, or dont make it an offtank.
