Works really well, kinda reminds me of one of my team mate's kass build, but seeing as how kass is a fav of mine, and you put a ton of detail in here, you get my full support and a +1 ^_^

The reason I get the deathfire first is to get that kage's pick early, which gives that gold per 10 and a decent amount of AP. The mana regeneration from the tear and the fiendish codex is usually plenty for me, especially with his melees giving mana back on hit when I kill creeps, but I'll give the catalyst a try and see if I like that build order better.

(btw, I can't stop listening to that song now. I hope you're happy. XD)

because of kass's highly used escape mechanism, may i suggest making the beginning part of the build like so:
meki+2 hp pots > tear of the goddess > +1 boots > catalyst > +2 boots > etc...

I'm gonna give this build a try, kass is one of my mains, and havn't played him like this before.
most likely gonna +1, so yea. gj ^_^

Ur point with the morellos is not bad and i also wanna thank u for the tip. Its true that greed is not that useful finally.

Yeah, thanks man! That force pulse charge thing is just something I started noticing midgame and I was like "Oh ****, awesome!" The range is pretty good though. I can usually pick people up from the other side of walls when I'm bottom lane on 3s and such. The void staff is something I'd grab if they stacked a lot of MR, like if they started straight up getting banshee's and FoN at once kind of stuff. I'd probably use it in place of Lich Bane though.

heheh we seem to agree on many things, including the importance of wards, adjusting your build according to the enemy, and the usefulness of the Frozen Heart. your build is much more offensive early game, and allows you to use your abilites for harrassing as well as farming. mine is more defensive, relying on the catalyst the protector to outlive the opponent. our main difference is our build order, our source of cooldown reduction, and that i get void staff late game for the % based magic penetration.

btw, duuude, watching the Force Pulse charge to detect enemy champions, that's ingenious! that alone deserves a +1 from everyone who reads your guide. now i rly wanna know what the range is for the charges (doesn't show up in lol wiki or google search, sadface). +1 from me :D

The main reason I get Morello's is for the cooldown reduction. There have been so many times when having a 2 second cd instead of a 4 second cd has saved me, and it also lets me silence and slow more. I don't feel the need for Rylai's with a slow that's pretty much up every 5 seconds, especially with Kassadin's chasing power.
To be totally honest, buying banshee's late game will get you killed a whole lot early game. I find that I have plenty of damage early and mid game with just morello's since it's cheap and I can get it quickly. Rushing the banshee's after boots lets you get a couple procs off the catalyst, extra mana for when you get your archangel's and that spellshield so people can't cc you to hold you down. Cdr is amazing on Kassadin, even if it doesn't cut a whole lot of time off his spells, it means that he can teleport twice in the time a Kassadin without cdr can do it once.
