I meant malz isnt an AoE type caster like an annie, whos combo can really hurt in a fight. A fiddlesticks can ult in and just pubstomp everyone. Malz can mostly just focus down one person in a fight.

Getting a rod before boots - instant downrate. movement speed is the most important attribute you can get, especially early on. getting mejai's that late is very inconvenient. dont bother buying spellvamp with malzahar before getting rabadon's. this build isn't thought through at all.

i would use cool down boots so u can spam out your spells faster which helps a lot to get 2-3 minions out doing dmg as well which do alot!

amazing build i changed it around just a little because i hate mejiasa so i replaced it with Archangles Staff and its amazing very good build with the spelvamp i get at least 300 hp back from ult at end build gj.

Malz has aoe dmg... Call of the void and null zone, and if you combo a squishy your visions will to pass to another enemy... you are wrong about that.
And i think that rushing that early roa is not the best for malz... leave the catalyst there for lane stability build your core.
