I just think Trinity Force is too much of a waste of gold. You can gain more attack speed/more critical chance/and similar movement speed for a fairly cheaper Phantom Dancer. You're also wasting gold on ability power and mana when you buy Trinity Force. It really is a great item for Talon, but I like to purchase the PD. Plus, with sheen, you're ONLY getting the buff. The ability power and mana on sheen are not needed with Talon. Seeing as how you have a Q skill already, and items that are ALL made around attack damage, I think overall you will do more damage without a sheen and by following my build (until late game when you purchase sheen->frozen mallet)

Imo Trinity force is much better than phantom dancer on him the sheen buff really helps his burst.

Thank you for the comment! This build is all about scaling your items, by getting the Brutalizer after merc. treads you are able to get 25 attack damage, 15 armor pen., and 10% cooldown reduction...its an all around win for Talon. About the Frozen Mallet, I haven't gotten far enough into a game with him yet to pick it up, but I will for sure add it as the final item. Many guides I've seen add frozen mallet early, which I disagree with because it's quite expensive, adds very little attack damage which affects ALL of your skills, and the slowing proc. + 10% damage doesn't really affect your mid game damage that much. The 700 health is great, but it's not like you're going to be putting yourself in the middle of battles. That's why I think the speed is much more effective mid game and the frozen mallet is a much better late game item.

Alright, I just bought Talon today, and think he's pretty awesome. I havent tried out your build, but it looks really good. I'll try it tomorrow.

By the way, you should sell the dorans blade later on and get a real 6th item.. Somewhere in your build, I think you should have a Frozen Mallet. Why? Simply put, it gives you extra survivability and damage, AND it's passive slow triggers your Mercy passive on every hit.

For masteries, I think that maybe you should get the 10% revive instead of mana regen.. This in my opinion is because Talon almost never runs out of mana. For me, a whole combo of his abilities didn't even bring me down to half.

Again, this looks to me like a really solid build (I like the phantom dancer and YG :D), and I'll be trying it out tomorrow. Think about the small change in masteries and the addition of a frozen mallet. I won't vote until I play, but im almost sure that I'll vote you up. Good work :)
