Very good build I started brand with it and after a couple of months I am playing with him I still use the core of this.

Suggestions/comments:
I use 21/0/9 masteries after the change which seem to boost my dps a lot. Tried 9/0/21 but didn't find it very viable to my play style.

However I know Fort Quints cover the absence of Dorian's Ring in the start but I find in the early game , even if I do great, very fragile with such low HP so I try to fit in 1-2 Dorians on my way to archangel staff to gain some more survivability.

Also I could say that the build you propose is so expensive that I have never got even close to make it in full no matter how many kills I do. I usually skip Mortelo's (since brand has already v low cds) and void staff (tip for low elo's /normal games, you can hardly find enemies with more than 60 mr..)
In addition I make an Hourglass if I am doing veeery good to have just that liitle extra help when I am focused, and YES guys you DO get focused a lot after a dominating start no matter position :D.

Overall a very nice guide I strongly recommend to new and older "Brand players".

Archstaff Brand? Now thats something awesome. I usually go full ap but i tried him as a mana caster. It was good actually, my score was about 19/4/2. Though u may need something as a defensive item. In any case 1+ :]

Also especially for newer brands, offer Dorans as a substitute. Yes you lose the two pots and the decent mana regen, but the little bit of AP gives the skillshot virgins a little extra damage to make up for their missed pillars and stuns. Not to mention that extra health will give people just a little more time to fire off a quick stun, or flash out of danger.

Few tricks Ive found, once you have the mana regen of course. If the person you lane against is very flighty and its almost impossible to land pillars, utilize the blaze bonus of conflagration. Hit minions with Pillar, once the champion wanders too close to them use conflagrate on the minions, the wave dies and the opponent takes some damage and starts burning. Also main combo should be Conf->sear->Pillar, they cant dodge the pillar due to the stun, and all you lose is the conf spread (which if there is nobody around them is negligible). Also perhaps introduce the idea of a early game hextech revolver if you require a bit more longevity in lane without sacrificing too much power.

Extremely minor, but in your runes section you have your glyphs and seals of choice listed as 1845 IP, when they should be 3690(glyphs) and 1890(seals). Again, extremely small error, but otherwise, great guide. It's helping me learn Brand. +1

great build it hasnt let me down but im not the best mage player so i throw in a regrowth pendent just to survive longer
