CD Reduction is useful to an extent, however most of her abilities dont need it that badly. Id agree with dorans, however 5 HP Potions and a Cloth Armor, combined with the runes i chose, makes you very tanky for an early game riven and makes you able to lane longer =P

Nice, Nice idea with the armor/mr runes but i would prefer the per level version on this champion ^.^
about masteries i think is better to get armor and mr from the defencive build and the sorcery full :D
The items looks cool but if i were you i'm sure that i would choose trinity insted mallet(each time you cast Q sheen is up + passive huge dmg inc:P)and Youmuu's Ghostblade is a must item for her cdr, crit, armor penetration and attack speed in used awesome... well done any is far better than other ones in this site!!!

I've reworked the Items and Runes for this champion, I made a build with more survivability and (if played properly) damage than before.

Attack speed gets her passive off quicker, but you have absolutely no defense from your runes, and you start with a Dorans Blade. You don't even need attack speed, because when you use Broken Wings, you auto attack immediately after since it resets the swing timer. This build is essentially a glass auto attacker with no sustainability. If someone is pushing you back behind your turret, your Dorans blade won't help you get your hp back if they have any sort of ranged harass.
Riven has extremely low defense, and without any fix for that, you are a free kill.
I kill other Rivens in four auto attacks between my Q, simply because I have armor pen and they have 15 armor at level 1.

As everyone knows, runes are just personal choice, i happen to use full attack speed runes, but i do agree that other rune pages are just as useful. Its a matter of personal choice really, and just gotta figure out what you personally want to use. I find i have no issues staying alive as i play smart and dont just suicide. However i do agree, i was looking over that today with Riven and decided to rework the Runes on here to more properly allow early game survivability with a little more offense in the mix.

This is a great build, i agree with another comment on here about the attack speed helping proc her passive.

I love the attack speed on here, after my 3 abilities i need to unload the pend up energy in the sword and attack speed lets you do it

Riven is not a champion you should grab attack speed with.

Depends, you may think this but the reason attack speed is actually good with this champion is it makes her passive useful. Especially in combination with her abilities. Also if you have high crit and crit damage, then the champion having attack speed makes them do significantly more.
