but thornmail doesn't give AD for you to wreck, and no team is gonna be entirely physical damage XD

if you were against a fed heavy phsical damage team. you will do more damage to them by gettting a thornmail lol.

Atma's Impaler gives you plenty of armor, and 62+ AD. It's great against any heavy physical damage team, for it gives you armor, and AD, and even health because AD is converted to health thanks to Jax's passive.

i still think you wont get a impaler at all because by the time you can get your last item you are already really fed so u can just kill them before they will do any damage to you. If there was someone who is annoying you, u can get a situational item like so magic resists or armor for your last item.
I really don't think Atma gives you enough armor to be worth it.

Also, agreed on that you won't need Atma's Impaler at all. You won't need any crits at all, actually.

The best way to become tanky on Jax is to build pure damage items like Gunblade, and then build resist items like FoN, BV, GA.

Atma's is both a resist item, and a damage item, it's REALLY good on Jax.

Also, Rageblade, Trinity Force, Infinity Edge, all of them make jax really tanky, and make him do "tons of damage".

Jax is in the same lot with Mordekaiser and Vladimir in that they rush damage (gunblade, deathcap, and deathcap respectfully) and gain survivability through their passives, and so they snowball very quickly and in late game, they scale so well that they can just walk all over your team with a proper build.

Jax gets Atma's, a BV, and then all damage items. His passive gives him enough health for the Atma's, and he gets really beefy, and the gunblade prevents most poke play.

Basically, if Jax gets his gunblade before you get your big item, he wins the lane.

The guide is pretty thorough, but I would suggest changing the health values with the added health bonuses from Jax's passive to prevent confusion.

u ALREADY have fifty something % reduced physical damage so impaler doesnt give u alot.

First of all, the Impaler makes you incredibly tanky, causing you to take 60% reduced physical damage at the end of the build. Building Deathcap is also FAR more expensive (over 1.3k), and would take longer time for you to reach your endgame items in general. However, if you are devastating your opponents and don't need to build more tanky, going Deathcap is certainly an option. I will incorporate it into my guide.
