Tried this guide 9/19/11 at 10 p.m. Finaly went 15-4 game ended around the 30 minute mark. I had all the items in the guide up to the mallet (sold W). I also max Q first. HUGE DMG increase in the lane. I was able to farm better in the early game rather than with W.

Like this guide first one that actually made a diference in early game. Maxing W first does not give me the burst i need to harass in lane and kill minions. I know people say it scales the best with dmg.. but honestly first couple of levels you dont have that many dmg items. so i rather max Q so i can max my dmg out put with my passive. good guide. recommend it!

Build does not work in most game situations with competent players, with no tenacity, no life, no armor, you will get focused down in less then a second.

If you would've read my guide, you could've seen that I don't take Wriggle's as an end-game item. I already said why I take Black Cleaver above and Infinity Edge is a stupid item for Riven, since she's not an auto-attacker and doesn't need crit.

Come on guys... At least read my guide and think about everything before you downvote.

Highly disagreed with your item choices. Wriggle's is definitely not end-game material for Riven, and should be subbed out for something more useful later on. Black Cleaver, as others said, is not as useful for Riven as another item that's jarringly missing from the list for any self-respecting AD - Infinity Edge. Finally, stacking Bloodthirsters on a squishy build is just asking for trouble, since upon death all the stacks are lost, and two spots are taken up by this lackluster item.

It has enough defense for me, and the lifesteal will keep you going, so unless you play her wrong, you won't need more. Yes, the Black Cleaver gives you AS, and I personally hate AS on Riven, but the AD and passive balances it out for me. I can't think of a better replacement item for her than a Black Cleaver.

2 Bloodthirsters is a good idea, since it gives you lots of AD and Lifesteal, especially when farming. They don't have an unique passive, so it's not bad to get 2 of them from that standpoint either. They're also not that expensive. Can't think of a better last item for that one either.

Also, maxing Broken Wings first is a matter of preference, it suits my playstyle. It's no reason to downvote. Maxing Valor makes no sense. At least read my guide to see why I max it last.

ki burst and valor should be your priority skills to max, not broken wings..

Two blood thirsters is not a good idea, not to mention broken wings is no longer maxed first.
