nice guide. I love playing Urgot. Always. :)

He is especially awesome in Dominion Mode. Its basically impossible to miss with your E on this map. :)
You have no Mana Problems due to the higher Mana Regeneration. Theres nearly no creep farming, so absolutely no need for aoe spells (which Urgot doesnt have). Your Core Build is finished within the first minutes -> TONS and TONS of damage output. And with your range, you can kill defending people without getting attacked by the tower.
It's just pure madness, when you slaughter your way through the enemy lines just because you CAN do it.
Sometimes I believe, Dominion was built for Urgot.

+1 to your Guide. ^^

One question: Whats with the mastery "Sage" (+exp on kills/assists). Is this thing worth a point? It kind of looks nice. :|

This guide looks really cool, but i was wondering perhaps ghostblade isn't really worth that much money as it isnt a great improvement from the brutalizer in terms of dmg, CDR and arPen, while you dont need the crit chance of its active at all!
+1 anyways :D

great build, I have more experimenting to do with it, but also a wonderful guide. In-Depth guides are the best, I really appreciate your effort writing this much. Walls of text are a good thing in my book, as long as there's theory instead of fluff. and you had lots of theory-type blocks. Thanks for making the effort! ^vote :)

thanks :) i'm still working on the new masteries, however...

...... Acid hunter procs spell vamp? I thought it was physical, like Gangplank's parrrley?

Ohhhhhh oh oh oh I get it I thought only magic damage procs spell vamp. ABILITIES proc spell vamp. Okay....

sure.

first point, "why gunblade". well, gunblade gives you spellvamp (procs on acid hunters) and attack damage, two stats you surely love to have. it also gives you some lifesteal (may be useful) and a certain amount of AP (oh well), bonus shield. the "advantage" of bloodthirster would be that, if you're not killed, you gain more damage. however, you don't heal yourself unless you're hitting on AA range, and even here, the lifesteal is lower (unless you have stacks).

basically, 'thirster is a viable item for the damage component (if you have a good advantage), but you lose shield strenght and self-heal.

about 'thirster in general, if you're aiming at flat damage, i would go for a more reliable source (unless you need the lifesteal+damage combination) :)

I am supremely confused as to why you would get a hextech gunblade when you do absolutely zero magic damage, and bloodthirser is cheaper and does more damage. Someone please fill me in.

acid hunter does not crit, and does not apply any on-hit effect like madreds bloodrazor or similar.
it is, however, affected by last whisper ('cause it deals physical damage).

I love urgot more than any other champ but there are some controversial things about his acid hunter missle. Do you know if:

-His acid hunter missle can critical strike?
-His acid hunter missle applies the effects of madreds bloodrazor
-His acid hinter missle applies the effect of last whisper

ok, need an explanation here. i had required comments to vote since there were downvotes "without any sense", i had a troll and no more... but now i had another two downvotes without comment, how is this possible O.o

seriously, i have 9 negative votes and 0 negative comments... that's quite annoying
