Its a nice guide but needs an update.
I take Meki Pendant and a ward for first items (going for Athene's Unholy Grail as first item other than boots) and upgrade for Chalice of Harmony and then take level 1 boots.
after that I finish Unholy Grail and boots (and have 40% cdr really early game)
Then I go for Rod of Ages. after that it depends on the situation and your gold intake

Also Spirit Bond is nothing like Exhaust. as a Karma support I take cv and Exhaust because the AD carry vs other AD carry will have a huge advantage on him when he has Exhaust on him.

But I'm not sure full support is your aim here. I'm just saying how it should be in ranked and such

I haven't been playing LoL recently, but I'm getting back into it. I'll be going over a lot of things in this guide to make sure they're still accurate.

The thing about Spirit Bond that to me makes it the same as Exhaust is that most people don't know how to use Spirit Bond because most people don't ever see Karma and don't know her abilities. I've seen a total of three or four during my entire time playing LoL. Unless you're playing with a group of friends in ranked games and everyone knows what they're doing, my advice on Spirit Bond and Exhaust is fairly solid. But I don't play ranked games and never have. :( This build is pretty good for normal games and for getting the hang of playing Karma.

And no, full support isn't my aim. Karma isn't really a full support kind of champion. She can be played that way, but I don't feel it utilizes her abilities to the fullest extent to play her that way.

@arlunix: You can support without Gp5 items, actually. I do so just fine. And I did make the distinction that if you're laning bot with a carry then you should probably not be taking their farm. Again, it's dependent on your team make up and whatever you're comfortable with. The same is said for Clarity. I agree, Flash is OP. By all means, take it instead of Clarity. I just happen to think Clarity is extremely useful and underrated.

@AeonRose: Thank you. :)

@Warlock Hastur: Actually it kind of does, as in it slows the target down. Obviously it has more uses than just that, but it IS a strong slow, just like Exhaust is.

"Spirit Bond has the same effects as Exhaust" - not

@Arlunix: Uhh, if you're going to downvote this ONE guide for not having a Gp5 item in the build, you might as well downvote every other Karma guide in existence. Practically NONE of these Karma builds suggest that you get a Gp5 on her. The reason being she is support material with or without items. And, if you actually read the part on "Summoner Spells", you would actually understand why he takes Clarity; If you don't like Clarity, don't take it. You don't need to follow cheat sheets down to every point.

build is fine, but you go bot lane and you cant support without gp 5 items... your build gets you nowhere unless you farm which means you're stealing carry farm which is ******ed... -1
edit: flash is op and clarity is terrible

It will, but the damage over time part of the passive is useless for Karma. So it doesn't fully work. Rylai's is delicious on Cassiopeia for example.

Although now that I'm looking over it, Rylai's actually seems just fine... Did I like, miss a buff to that or something? I only remember it effecting damage over time.

Note to self: don't randomly stop playing LoL/following information. >_>
