nice build and I like your explanation that Udyr overall is tank...I agree that you would always prioritize to secure the safety of your team mates rather than aiming for more kills in order to secure victory.. I hate greedy team mates even a 100 kill of your pure AD champs can't guarantee you a win =)

Sorry, tried to explain it well. You certainly don't NEED cloth armor and 5 hp pots. I use those because they guarantee that you'll have plenty of health after a full clear so that you can go gank immediately with going back to base. Frozen mallet also isn't NEEDED. It's just an option. I like it late game. Other ideas in the write up.

I prefer tanky Udyr over dps Udyr. If you have to initiate (and you usually will) I find it better to be extremely bulky. As a side note though, you'd be surprised at how much damage this Udyr can output. A stun with bear and then a bit of pounding with tiger can drain a healthbar pretty quickly. Try it out before you instant downvote just because it's not the same as your Udyr build.

Frozen Mallet is unncessary on udyr imho and if you really need Cloth armr and 5 health pots to jungle now... sorry but you are doing something wrong
