Yeah it's not true, but it is nice to use the hiten style to proc your trinity force.

Tried this build out recently, it's pretty good. Very easy to get VERY farmed up, which makes Irelia nearly unstoppable.

Decent guide...But maxing Hiten Style last completely ruins her early and midgame, and Irelia is a monster midgame once she grab her Triforce. Bladesurge should be maxed 2nd and Equilibriam Stike is a good one point wonder since you use it for the stun not the damage. Bladesurge in early/midgame should be used for an intiate not a huge damage ability. You shouldnt need it for last hitting, and if you do you should get better at last hitting with auto attacks. Hiten Style also makes taking towers early alot easier since that true damage counts against towers. Your build and runes and masteries are fine, although theres probably 15 other guides on the site with pretty much the same set up so making a new one doesnt seem very useful. It really the skill order that holds your guide back.

About time a good Irelia player made a good build guide for her. I especially like that you included that graph of Armor/MR, most people don't know about that. Good job.

Hello,
I think she doesn't have a damage in start game using her Q, I prefer up my W because he have a true damage and a respect of a trinity late game i think that is so bad for irelia because the trinity have a slow and a big attack with sheen, I would say for you see about it and test for correct your build as i'm saying. Now, it's your turn, if u accept my opnion i'll be happy. I'm saying only a respect of trinity needs be the first item and about your skills.

I completely agree with the early trinity in some cases, as I will actually occasionally build it first. However, I can usually have my warmorg's farmed up AND get my trinity force done before team fights start, when otherwise I would have a trinity and an un-farmed Warmog's. So it really is situational for me, but this is a guide and not a cookie cutter build. Like I said at the beginning, it is mainly meant for people who are new to Irelia, which is why I kept it kind of short.

Pretty good guide, simple and straightforward.

Personally, I find that it's better to max E first; it lengthens the stun/slow, deals more damage, and doesn't have as high a mana cost as Q. Also, your early game with Q should be used for farming, so it isn't necessary to level rapidly.

And on a simple aesthetics recommendation, toss the ability images into section where you discuss them. It just cleans things up nicely.
