this is a good build but definitely not the way to maximize his abilities. getting a frozen mallet helps keep you alive and is incredibly helpful with his passive. the more on hit effects you can do with talon the better he gets. also, the more one hit/combo kills you can get, the more fun it is to play talon, rather than being able to do damage only after several attempts to kill someone because his cool downs on cutthroat and rake are relatively high and can't be spammed due to his mana

After you hit about level 9 or so his mana isn't a problem whatsoever. As for his cooldowns on rake they are at about 6 seconds with cdr boots and flat glyphs which is basically spammable when going in on a champion.

Also as stated in the guide it's more or less a pubstomp build for lulz. I know there are better ways to play him more efficiently.

The build is quite debatable as with so much AD and no Armor Pen, as the enemy team stacks Armor (Lets say Sunfire and Thornmail and for Tanks maybe a GA too) you're pretty much done for, I have tried the build and though it does help you harass like crazy, however I think Brutalizer Early game would do a similar job. Late game you'll need a Last whisper if they starts stacking armor because in the late game Last whisper can do more damage than Bloodthirsters. 4 Bloodthirsters for the is a bit too much.

That is speaking if the enemy team builds armor, not always does it happen. But yes I see what you are talking about. Someone already said replacine IE with Last whisper instead would be the best way to go if armor was built.

Classic Talon is basically like every other Talon guide, and to deem one better than the other is fine. This one is just to have something actually different in the guides. Also the whole thing is situational if you read...

I find this build pretty situational.Talon may need at least a slurp of armour pen so if there is atleast 1 armor stacker in the enemy team you'll have a few issues with that guy (considering you can't kill him fast enough the whole enemy team will get to you in a blink of an eye). Even though, this build is the bane of squishies and I'm giving it a thumbs up.
