he greater mark of alacrity is a better choice in my opinion. Remember attack speed helps your ki strike proc, and when ki strike procs you regain energi. So alacrity runes are actually like two runes for one :)
For the surge thing i said for the carries. Surge works on all types of carries since it gives AS and AP.
Guardians angel is a viable choice, however when i buy one in my games, people tend to not focus me. If im just gonna revive rigth after i die, people would rather focus you last.

i do think greater mark of insight should be considered as you shouldn't be constantly attacking all the time with alacrity. i think maybe you should edit the fact on surge as it should be for HYBRID carries and not just the simple carry.

for your items you should also consider guardian angel :D

@just a random: I now rewrote my thornail part. Instead of sunfire cape i would recommend another Warmog's Armor. Overall a second Warmog's armor gives more damage than sunfire cape.

Nice Guide, also used to play Shen before patch and now he's just great.
I really like Wit's End on Shen now, suppose getting Sunfire Cape instead of Thornmail - if their carries aren't fed - could make you even a bigger threat.

@toxic4mosh: I know he is a very safe jungler. I thougth about making a jungle guide as well, but im really not the most experienced jungler. I dont know what champions are good in certain team comps, and who is a counter to who in the jungle. :) Thank you very much for the response :)

Using this guide take Smite and Ghost and you are one of the quickest jungles. as your Q, W and ki stike replace pots. and clearing jungle taking only 200 damage (level 3)

Good explainations. though i dont agree with hourglass I find this guide very useful. The jump over map is a really good idea. +1
