Shen - The Red Spirit [ Update 1.1 ]
Your votes and comments encourage our guide authors to continue
creating helpful guides for the League of Legends community.
You also covered a lot of information which is very helpful and you gave many tips and tricks which should help newer players understand the champion. You have a very good knowledge of BBCode which makes your guide aesthetically pleasing and very readable.
In the arguement about whether Warmog's Armor is good on Shen: I believe that it is not a greedy item at all. It drastically increases the damage of your Ki Strike and the heal from Vorpal Blade which benefits teammates more then they might think. Although it is very expensive, I find that Shen is very easy at obtaining a high CS and once he gets it he becomes very tanky. Shen's Shadow Dash also benefits from health because in that 1.5 seconds of being taunted, you should have a large amount of damage being done too you.
Overall you have a very good guide and I hope too see more added to it as you have already done with 1.1. Keep up the great work!
ill test this but the masteries in offense cant be made.
My God, SUCH a major oversight on my part. You are indeed right, it is impossible. Instead of alacrity, it should be sorcery. I will rectify this immediately!
Keep up the good work!
I'm not going to downvote but i feel like Warmog is not the way of Shen Tank it's an expensive item who does not give anything to your team mates. You get Randuin's Omein at Last who i believe it must be the third item, sometimes you should get a Aegis of The Legion if you don't have a support who build that. Don't feel like Wit's End is a good Option.
You should add more Optional items like QuickSilver Sash and Thornmail.
I only would build Wit's End if i was that bad to can't taunt my enemies.
I feel like you should start with boots and 3 Health Potions and then move on to the first part or Randuin's Omein and then an Aegis.
TL/DR: Add some more Optional items, feel in changing some more items and use more images and more videos some scores from your play too.
Your comment has been appreciated and understood. However, I clearly stated I am going to way of an offensive tank. The build I use is the accumulation of personal observation, streams [ M5 ] and other guides and people I have spoken with.
Wit's End isn't mean to compensate for my taunt, it is there to augment my power even further. Warmog, it isn't an aura item and a selfish choice, but I prefer that so I can tank even more for a prolonged amount of time. Aegis of the Legion is reserved for a support, those are the aura dispensers, my job is there to tank and make sure I live long enough.
Boots + 3 HP potions is self-gimping in the end. I don't need extra mobility, I need sustain and with Vorpal Blade I have this. Doran's Shield isn't an usual start for others but it works wonders.
The other optional items are considered, but reserving FoN or Randuin's Omen is because of the money issue and severe overkill during early/mid game.
