How Karma decided to be populer.

As I stared out of the window, I wondered to my self "why does everyone think
that i don't exist". Then I thought of something that might make me exist.
I then went to sit on my bed and started thinking on ideas for more skins
that I should have."Hmm how about... Nah that would'nt work" I said to my self.
Then I stood up and decided to visit other champs that were populer amongst the
summoners. I went to find Teemo, one of the most played champs. Teemo's front door
was as tall as my feet till my knee, I knocked on it and after a few seconds,
the most adorable voice any one could hear sayed "coming!". And then the tiny
little door opened and out came the most addorable living thing you would ever
see. I asked him "may I come in?". He replyed "sure but coming in might be a tight
fit for you". After an minute or so of trying to get in I finally got in and what
I saw blew my mind! There was mushrooms that Teemo uses in battle, there was also
lots of poisoned darts on and large table compared to Teemo's size. So after he took
out an mushroom the size of an small chair and offered me an seat. The mushroom might
have been small but it was sure comfy. Now it was time to get serious, so I asked Teemo
what was his secret that made him so populer amongst all of the summorners. I always
thought it was because he had manny skins but what he said was "I think its because
I am so adorable". I had to agree with that but I am also not ugly unlike sion but he is
also more populer then me. So now I am really confused. I said thanks for your time
Teemo and left through that tiny door again and walked back to my room. When I got back
I decided that the reason was because of riot so I shall now FORCE riot to give me a major buff
and also more skins! This is Karma The Enlighted One.
Please summon me!!!!!!!!!

Yes, she needs more expensive items to be fully effective and I compared her to Soraka not to say that Soraka is worse, I just mean she is not ineffective in general. Each support has its pros and cons. I don't like Soraka, for example, for little damage as support. I don't like Sona for weak heal and mana hunger as a result (if your carry has been harassed too much). But Sona has incredible Q. Which can lead to kill still so often. etc etc.

I suppose Karma is not too effective in fact, I am just really touched by the post of bjorntin :D And in real life I have a habit to help those who are weak or sad and that's why I have set forth all this advocacy =)

Problem with Karma is that she need more farm than Soraka to be effective as a support. Meaning you would either have to steal cs or not ward as much. People generally find that to be a big enough turn-off not to play her. She has her comps where she can shine, but not nearly as versatile as Soraka. So I guess she isn't as ineffective as much as she makes her team less effective.

and Doesn't matter how many people you slow. Silence > slow. ;]

She is not ineffective, some people just cant play her properly. As compared to Soraka she can heal the entire groups and herself very nicely and more often (soraka can only ulti on all the champs, and ulti can much bigger cd than karma's q), she has a shiled which is not available for soraka, and her AoE damage of shiled (STILL shielding) is awesome. And Soraka can only silence, while Karma can use her spirit bond to slow the entire team + deal some damage. And she is not that squishy as Soraka. But of course to get all these benefits you have to take decisions every second and you have to be good at positioning.
