I am hoping to see this worked out even better in the future, perhaps with some more pictures to clarify etc., as well as other lane options or perhaps a jungle section.

thank you for your reply and criticism.

I indeed made a mistake in the mastery trees and removed the point in Summoner's Wrath as it was indeed unnecessary on the default version of my build that uses Heal and Flash.

I would remove the point in Butcher, but I need to place 4 Mastery points in the first tier before unlocking the second, and I feel that Butcher is better than Mental Force for Varus.

You should redo some of your mastery tree as putting points into Summoner's Wrath, Resolve, and Insight is needless as you only can have two summoner spells :P
Also, I would not put points into Butcher, as the extra 2 damage vs minions is negligible and the points could be spent elsewhere in the defense tree. Just my opinion, but I do not find the extra 2 damage much help to farming.
