Xin is the first champ I bought, and since the beginning I play him the way you do - mid with a focus on AD.

People in my team usually think I'm a troll but when they see that I carry mid lane, their opinion changes :)

I love Xin Zhao mid! His lvl 2/3 burst is just unbelievable...but there are a couple problems. Every time I call mid and pick Xin, my teammates trash-talk me into oblivion simply because Xin mid is uncommon. Also some AP mids (Ahri, Kassadin) who have CC and flat AP runes can chunk your HP down way too fast...I'd suggest a lane switch if viable in that instance.

How narrow minded, is META that important to you? Xin makes an excellent mid; incredible burst damage, gap closing slow, knock-up. These are very strong traits for taking down the typical AP mid... Have you even tried Xin Zhao mid before making this comment?

Very nice guide. I saw a few games of Xin mid and didn't think much of it, until I read your build ahah. Fits perfectly to my aggressive style, however I use this build for other lanes. I just swap the Wits End to a Mandreds, also I usually change up the Ghost Blade for a situational item. HOWEVER, still great build.
