Absolutely love the guide mate, very well written. In contrast Batesii and others who dislike the memes and attitude, I love them; they give the guide character and make it fun to read instead of just being some boring old tome. Great job man, keep it up!

Right now, maxing out E is the biggest exploitation on Jayce. It does a lot of damage without items and costs ridiculous amounts of mana. Something that apparently they are changing on the next patch (so say the patch nots for the PBE). Will have to adapt the guide, but the only problem I see is that E ability won't be as spammable or will make you a bit more mana hungry.

Nice guide,open myself a new world.I was tryng to find a way to buid jayce,and i try the Q and also the W mode.
Never tought about max first E: here the result.Quite nice.Really nice job,i like both build,but i usually go for something like a mix between them: lantern and trynity Always firts,then if is feeded the enemy ad: impaler.If is feeded the enemy ap: hexdrinker.
No need of frozen mallet,and the shen passive is too important.

But jokes aside, like I said in the guide, the reason why this works it's because everyone has armor versus Jayce. They think "he's gonna build AD items" and start stacking armor. I just went versus a Taric top. He builds crazy armor. 2 E's, he's at half health. You mad?

You know, it's about exploiting the flaws. The defensive tree is really good. By having a skill (Jayce's E) that can do really good damage without any offensive items or masteries or runes, you're going to win. You know you're going to win.

You can try it with other champions. One champion comes to mind: Olaf. 0/21/9, or if you feeling kinky, 0/30/0. ;)

I like this idea. A LOT. I recently got Jayce and while I do hit my Q a lot I just don't seem to get that sweet sweet l33tness going on. Going to try this out, will come back with feedback. For now, +1 for creativity and courage to go aginst the meta! :P

I was playing Jayce vs Teemo.
I put a point in Q but Teemo didn't die.
So I start maxing E and then he dies.

You should say that maxing allows for better ranged harassment. They can't dodge your autos.

I was going to use your build, but then you said that every time I put a point on my Q a Temmo dies, and since I hate temmos so very much i wont do that (umad)?
