Just wondering, sorry if you said something in the guide about that already and i over looked it.
Ty, Outlaw.
As far as the Video Guide goes, I like that idea, I will look into it. I don't know any program that I may need to download to do something like that, but I am interested for sure. If I ever figure it out, I will throw it on the guide and give you a Message asking you to check it out :]
On the Tiamat question, Tiamat will only effect the Champion, not the "pets" as I believe they are classified as (in reference to the spiderlings). Tiamat and Ravenous Hydra are both still fun little options to try on Elise. Skittering Frenzy + Ravenous will put out a lot of AoE damage in team fights.
One last thing That I wanted to mention in this reply is directed @Kronoslave, I have been starting off with the Hunter's Machete into Madred's a lot lately and it has been working out rather nicely. Next time I update my guide, which should be pretty soon, I will update the Item chapter and more specifically the starting items.
I have a question, how about tiamat for Elise? Would the effect go to her spiderlings?
Thank You,
GiggleRectum
To hopefully answer some of your questions:
This guide is geared towards anyone who is looking to get a grasp on Jungle Elise. I would say that it is mainly geared towards the newer players, because most of the top level players and pro's tend to just do their own thing until they figure something out themselves. However, I only play ranked nowadays, so it definitely would not hurt for some of the better players to try out my build, even if the guide itself will not help them.
As far as Rappel goes, I do briefly explain how it can be used to dodge all kinds of nasty moves under the Skill Sequences chapter, but I would be more than happy to add more to the guide on this feature. Next time I update (which should be in a week or two), I'll be sure to put some more emphasis on Rappel. I definitely agree with you on it by the way, as you can see, I don't even use Flash anymore on Elise for my main build. This is due to the fact that in the Jungle Elise has top tier mobility/evasion via creep camps + rappel.
I almost only play ranked, so my team really depends on me being the head of the charge, if you will. As in, they want me to take as much damage as possible and focus on all the carries, so that they can in fact do their roles as carries. So as the Jungle, I put the primary focus of this guide on a Hybrid "Bruiser" or "Off-Tank." Just recently I have been experimenting with the AP Carry side of Elise in the Jungle after being inspired by the way that Diana builds, and I must say, it is quite appealing. So now I offer the "Snowballing" version of my guide, which is more geared towards AP Carrying if you get off to a good start. Which can of course just be straight up used if you are going for that role to begin with.
Hope that answered your questions or shed some light on some darker points in my guide. I will work to resolve said issues by my next update (which should be by the end of the month). Thank you again for the feedback. :]
First of all I have a question, u made this guide for veterans or for new players ( or for both)
If u wanna teach new players too U should add lot of thing to the Guide:) for example the using of Rappel, u can dodge srs Dmg ults from Karthus/Fiora/Zed, dodging Zyra ult is always good, it can save ur life in jungle ( jumping to the nearest camp). I rarely see elise against me(in ranked she is getting banned in the 60% of the time or I pick her)but if I play against elise in normal its a pain for me, I mean they realy cant exploit her skills :/
About the guide I find it interesting cuz I play her almost every time as AP Bruiser(or APC if we are not full of squishys). I'm sure I will try out in the next 2-3 days:)
@Skullface
U should do some practice in jungle. I think Elise's Clear time and early sustain is INSANE! and can solo Blue(without any problem) if u play on very low lvl with unskilled players :)
