Amazing guide! I've been playing jungle and mid for a year and never thought of trying Wukong. Your guide immediately gave me a string of victories. I even bought Wu so i can main him as jungle now - previously used Rammus and Sejuani.

A few requests:
1. Please update your masteries for Season 4
2. Can you add a one line explanation for each optional item? I've played with both the Carry and Tank builds and want to know what the other items can bring to the game and which items they should replace.

Apart from that, hats off bro. I created an account just so that I can upvote and make these requests for your guide.

Similar to the way I build Wukong in the jungle, although I never really like building wriggles. Also, I feel like rushing phage after Lizard elder helps with your lack of CC. I then go brutalizer and build the cleaver and the maw (if I really need it). I also rarely use warmogs (depending on the team comp) and I find that trinity isn't really worth it, might as well get frozen mallet. I guess I build him more like an assassin than a bruiser, but even though I get I get squishy, Bloodthirter, ravenous hydra and a good use of decoy seem to make up for it.

Just putting this out there as a potential option, Wukong seems to be one of the very few champs Im really good at.

Great build

However, if you need to do the tank/initiator for the team, isn't a bad idea (early season 2 give about 120 AD, insane for a tank, have done well to decrease it)

I guess it's just personal preference than. If you find it to be a valuable item, by all means, go for it! The build isn't rigid. I (personally) think there are just better valued items, that's all :)

At approximately 4000 health, which your build usually ends up with according to the guide, you'll be getting a little less than 60 AD, 15% crit chance, and 45 armor from Atma's for 2300 gold. That sounds pretty good. The only thing is, what item do you replace? If you replace Warmog's Armor, you will be down 15 AD off of Atma's Impaler, and will be lacking much survivability. If you take off Frozen Mallet, you lose roughly 11-12 ad off of Atma's Impaler, 30 AD off of Frozen Mallet, 700 health, and a great passive that prevents you from being kited fo' dayz. If you remove Black Cleaver, you are down 200 health, 3 AD off of Atma's Impaler, armor shred, 10% cooldown reduction, and 10 flat armor pen as well as an additional 55 AD. If you remove Bloodthirster, you lose 70-100 ad, your only source of sustain, and the bulk of your ad. The only viable thing to replace would be Last Whisper, which loses you 40 ad and 35% armor pen. If your opponents aren't building any armor, then maybe it might be viable. Another big factor is that you only gain 60 AD if all your health items are intact, you are level 18, and you have completed a full build, and at that point last whisper would probably pay off more. /ramble

TL:DR, this ain't early S2 no mo', when Atma's Impaler gave 3% of health as A.D.

that's the math. I apologize for rambling. ^_^

I made an account just to vote this guide and thank you for it. It rocks!

I usually play ADC but because Wukong was free I decided to try him. Top got taken so I found ur guide for the jungle. It worked really well and we won the game!

Great guide! Love the build (both). Makes it really easy to get into the game as this champ (especially in free week).

I didn't even want to jungle (because I don't really have any junglers) but I saw this guide and picked Wukong (he was free) and carried hard!

Atma's Impaler isn't a good item? but the build however is good.

As for Atma's, I personally don't really like it. I think there are many better items so it ends up just being a wasted slot. There are better stats for the value. And thanks for the positive feedback!
