Also in this guide there are some good examples of other viable builds, not just the blue one that everyone is getting right now.
How about if I downvote for having barely any bbcode and presentation?
Other than the fact that AP Ezreal is essentially unviable. That's not why I'm downvoting though. That's just my opinion.
There's actually a lot of coding. Half of the guide is Pros / Cons to each role that Ezreal can fulfill which is basically nothing but coding. I also clearly state that this is intended to be a mini-guide without useless fluff, so your critique is more of a compliment to the intention than anything else.
Something being "viable" and being a strong pick are two completely different things. LCS demonstrates OP compositions, the strongest picks available, and whatever tactics guarantee a win. The main reason AP Ezreal isn't played is the same reason that all the other AP Mids that don't have CC aren't played. They don't bring any utility to a team just raw damage so it limits what you can pick in other roles when forming a team composition. The AD Mid Ezreal has seen competitive play however because of the utility that Iceborn Gauntlet provides as well as the popularization of the double AD Carry composition in Korea.
Regardless of what is the BEST way to play Ezreal I wanted to include all of the options when making a "comprehensive" guide. Though I did technically leave out Jungle Ezreal but he's not that different from ADC Ezreal other than running Smite.
Also, your link that shows all of the well known competitive players' Ezreal builds doesn't help your argument at all. Comparing AD Ezreal's win/loss to AP Ezreal's win/loss within the last month from the information provided in that page actually says that AP Ezreal has a much higher win ratio. Shushei and Saint V collectively made AP Ez have 6 Wins - 1 Loss.
Though I'm certainly not arguing that what Shushei and St.V do in Solo Queue sets the meta, I was also never arguing that AP Ez fit well into the meta. I simply would claim that it is viable, fun, and might come into play at some point in the future depending on patches, item changes, meta shifts, etc. If anyone DID want to play AP Ezreal in the current meta however, I have attempted to explain the best way to do so in order to help guide them along such a quest.
