Oh yeah, I forgot this one :P

Given the short time I have, I quickly read through your guide, and I have to say I really like the depth of your "Gameplay" section. It's really helpful and well done. The things got stuck for me is Item selection, masteries and most of the lane matchup descriptions.

Items - I, personally wouldn't take more than 1 armor item (excluding ninja tabi), unless they have 2 out of 3 ADs in Jungle,Top,Mid. In my humble opinion Sunfire Aegis is not a strong pickup on shyvana, but probably 80% of the lol community would disagree with me, whatever. Your defensive items should really depend on the enemy's damage output. Not just Magic or Physical but true damage. If more than 2 people run BoTRK on the enemy team, building health is not as good as flat armor, meanwhile taking armor while the other team lacks true damage is the exact opposite. Health is the single best defensive stat you can get on shyvana. I'd take Warmog's for 5th or 6th pick as it does not offer anything else than health+regen. For first item I always take offensive items such as BoTRK/Triforce/Hydra etc.. Taking a defensive item first means you will be stuck in your lane forever (Described as "island" by you). Taking a more offensive first item lets you roam a lot, counter jungle or gank mid. Visage, Randuins, BoTRK are solid pickups. Frozen Mallet recieved a recent /nerf/ and is considered useless by many players. It is indeed way too expensive for a jungle shyvana, but top lane, you can afford it. It is an invaluable tool as it corrects one of the two downsides of Shyv; no cc.

Masteries: Same as items, they should depend of your opposition, and I'd rather take Relentless instead of armor/mr and the Health regen mastery is pretty damn useful in lane, especially against AD offensive top laners such as Riven.

I do realize this is a work in progress, (it is right??) and what I noticed is that you give nice tips on matchups until Jax. Then it's just 1-sentence do this do that roflmao etc. You might want to expand those.

This is all I got for a glimpse, +1 because I liked it.

Tough Skin does not work against minions in lane so think of selecting Masteries like Relentless , Defender , Safeguard etc. ...
