So where to start? I told all friends last week, I stop playing solo ranked now, and this time it´s for real. And then again, I started again on the weekend.
Nah! Can´t be! I fell for the constant humiliation by "Easy"-saying opponents, for being trolled 24/7 and for AFK´s, leavers, haters, etc.
And that´s why: I still believe there must be some sense in playing this game, specifically this game mode. There must be an answer somewhere to why this all happens. Why people play 1st time Udyr in ranked games, and fail 0/11... oh my!
Someone said, you cannot get the right answer if you pose the wrong question. Maybe that´s the problem here. I still wait & see...

My hopes are always that ppl take ranked more serious. But then, it´s not that much the case I think. The disadvantage of the hidden ELO: People already landed on B5 0LP have obviously no reason not to troll...
The advantage of the hidden ELO: You feel better if you climb again in relation to you immediate ELO neighbours, even if you slowly fall in absolute terms.
My goal is to proof myself that I am better than lets say 33% of all players. Hard to tell why but this sounds like a feasable goal. I think its ambitious but still ok ;)
You need to find the reason that you play ranked. I would hope that your answer is the same as mine though. If you ever find yourself playing ranked not for the reason you thought of, then you aren't going to get anything out of it.
