It's not a secret that I am an avid anime fan. So I decided to write this list. It will contain anime reviews for most of the animes I've watched. I'll write down some of my thoughts on each anime and I'll say if it was enjoyable and/or if it's worth watching. If you want you can request an anime that I haven't reviewed and I'll give you my thoughts on it based on what I've seen/read/heard about it. Let's begin!

Accel World

If I had to describe this anime with 2 words it would be awesome and confusing. Maybe it's just me but there's a lot of stuff that I didn't fully understand in the series. For example the whole thing where they enter the world where Haru has his Pig avatar. Is that world supposed to be a global server or something? Is it connected to the Accelerated World? Stuff like this confused me a little bit.

Excluding that the story is very good, the characters (especially Kuroyukihime) are interesting in their own ways (Haru is quite unique when compared to most main characters in battle animes) and the animation/music is flawless. Both the Openings and the Endings are awesome in my opinion.

Accel World was an anime I really enjoyed. It's no surprise really. Accel World was made by Sword Art Online's creator so how can I not enjoy it? :P

Ano Natsu de Matteru

This anime is so short. I'm not even kidding. The ending of the anime was pretty good actually and after I watched the last episode I was sad for a week (it really got to me). The thing is I feel like this should have been a 24 episode anime. The pacing of the story felt like it was really fast. Things developed so quickly and the anime ended just as I was starting to really enjoy it. Such a shame..

Some of the characters can be kinda stereotypical and boring but there are characters like Remon who can be quite likeable. The animation for the most part is fine. The Opening and the Ending both use very sweet songs that are easy to get into.

Ano Natsu de Matteru is definitely worth watching however you might get pissed off because of how short it is.

Bleach

Ah Bleach..so many people know Bleach. Some hate it and others love it. To be honest I have no idea why people hate on Bleach. It has so much variety. There's tons of enjoyable characters. They are all unique in their own ways especially characters like Gin, Byakuya, Aizen, Hitsugaya, Ichigo, etc. They all have their own cool Zanpakutos and Abilities. Actually, I don't think it's fair to say all of them are cool. Everyone has preferences and some people might not like some characters' powers.

The thing, I really enjoy in Bleach is the comedic/filler episodes. I've laughed so hard while watching some of them (like the one where Omaeda pretends to be a Captain). The one bad thing about Bleach is the movies. Movie 1 is alright but not too exciting. Movie 2 is pretty good but again not too exciting. Movie 3 is...meh. And Movie 4 is actually the only Bleach movie that was awesome in my opinion. Some of the Openings and/or Endings in the anime aren't that great but you can always skip them. The animation improves by quite a bit as the anime goes on.

Concluding, I think Bleach is an awesome choice if you're looking for a Shonen battle anime with cool fights and a good story.

Blood Lad

Blood Lad is one of those animes you'll enjoy because of how unique the story is. And it's not just the story. Some of the characters are also quite unique. The main character Staz is an Otaku (hardcore anime and manga fan) and a Vampire at the same time. How is that not unique? The story is cool but at the same time kinda simple. He meets a human girl, she accidentally dies and is reborn as a ghost and he wants to resurrect her. I dunno. In my opinion they could have made the story a bit more complex.

Animation is fine. I liked the Opening. It's catchy. The Ending was..meh.

I would definitely recommend watching Blood Lad for it's uniqueness but you probably won't understand and/or enjoy everything the series has to offer.

Date A Live

I really like the concept of this anime. The main character has to "date" spirits in order to seal their dangerous powers? Yes please! Not only are most of the spirits very likeable but they all have sick powers. One thing, I kinda disliked was how Episode 6 (or most of it rather) made no sense at all. Watch it and you'll see. It was such a wasted episode in my opinion. The only thing I liked about it was how cute Tohka was in it.

The animation is gorgeous! I kid you not! And the Opening..that Opening..soooooo good! The Endings were alright but the Opening is what I really enjoyed.

Date A Live is a very very very interesting anime. I highly recommend you check it out! You'll enjoy it for sure if you're a fan of mecha animes with a little bit of romance here and there.

Fairy Tail

If you're gonna watch Fairy Tail you have to understand 2 things. It has a ton of "WTF just happened? This is bull*hit!" moments. And it's an anime where the good guys ALWAYS win. And I mean A-L-W-A-Y-S! If you don't think you'll be able to deal with either of those things then just avoid Fairy Tail. I'm okay with both of those things which is why I can enjoy Fairy Tail for what it is. Despite how annoying the whole "friendship" thing can be FT is an anime that can teach you to treasure your friends and fight for them. I really like that about FT. Some of the characters in FT are cool but the rest of them are very lame. Reedus for example is a piece of ****. Cana is a character I enjoy but I hate how she's so weak in terms of fighting. Macao, Wakaba, Nab and Vijeeter are also ****py characters. The main characters Natsu and Lucy have their pros and cons. Lucy is adorable but so weak as a fighter, Natsu is strong as fk but has almost no character development. The other 2 main characters Erza and Gray are also the same as Lucy and Natsu. They have their good and bad sides.

I don't really think the FT OVAs are super awesome. Half of them are decent and the others are bleh. The FT Movie was rock solid though. It has a really dark ending which is very unique for Fairy Tail. The animation in Fairy Tail isn't really that special. It can be really but it's pretty sloppy at times. I enjoyed half of the Openings and half of the Endings. The other ones weren't that great. Opening 1 is amazing though.

FT is definitely not an anime everyone will enjoy. If you don't think you'll be able to watch a lot of WTF moments or a lot of Friendship Power-Ups then don't bother watching FT. You'll just end up hating it even if you do decide to watch it.

K-On!

A decent slice-of-life anime. The good thing about it is that anyone could enjoy it. The bad thing about it is that it has nothing special/unique. Some girls join the music club so it won't get disbanded, they bond and they learn how to make songs and be a good band. Simple plot right?

The animation is fine. The Openings are a bit "crazy" especially Opening 2. The endings aren't as impressive but they're alright.

Overall, K-On! is a fairly enjoyable series. Anyone can get into it and you'll love the characters because they are quite cute. It's not an amazing anime but it's definitely a good anime.

Kimi no Iru Machi

This anime has a major downside. The story is all over the place and not in the proper order. The OVAs of the anime contains the early parts of the story while the actual anime itself contains what happens afterwards (and the anime doesn't even finish the story because it's a 12 episode anime). So if you watch the anime without watching the OVAs you'll be sorta confused.

One other thing that can be considered a downside is the animation or rather the art style. The anime has a different art style compared to the OVA's. In my opinion the OVA's have the better art style. It was hard for me to get used to the art in the anime because it's so..I don't even know how to explain it. It's kinda messy if that even makes any sense. The art in the OVA's is way more pleasing to look at and way more clear. The Opening is pretty good in my opinion and the song they picked for it (very sweet song by the way) is a good fit for the series.

In conclusion, Kimi no Iru Machi won't be as enjoyable if you watch the anime first because you won't know what's going on. But if you can bypass that it can be a very good and enjoyable anime.

Love Hina

I recently finished this anime and I'm currently reading the manga for it. I have a huge soft spot for this anime. It's due to the fact that the main character Keitaro Urashima is like my anime version. He's clumsy, he's stupid, he tries to be kind to everyone and he's often put in a bad situation. He even looks kinda like me (minus the glasses). As the main female character Naru puts it "He has no redeemable qualities!". Sounds like me haha.

But putting aside my personal love for the anime I think it's still pretty good. The story is very interesting. The animation is alright for the year (2000). One downside to the anime is that some of the episodes are a bit filler-ish. The OVAs are really good (especially the Christmas OVA). Most of the characters are unique and the ones who aren't unique are just as enjoyable as the ones who are. The Opening is super crazy and fun! No joke here. I really like it ^^! The Ending is...meh.

Love Hina is definitely worth watching. I think almost anyone can enjoy it if they don't take the filler-ish episodes seriously. Oh and watch the Anime and OVAs in the following order:
- Love Hina (anime)
- Love Hina: Christmas Special
- Love Hina: Spring Special
- Love Hina Again

And if you want to completely finish the series go read the manga after you're done with the anime and OVAs.

Mahou Shoujo Lyrical Nanoha

Note: This review is for the 1st anime only. I still haven't watched A's and StrikerS.

The story is typical for a Magical Girl Anime. It wasn't a very exciting anime. Not gonna lie about that. It took me a long time to finish it because the pacing of the entire anime is slow. The animation is good (especially during Transformation scenes). The characters can be a bit boring sometimes but it doesn't happen that often. The Opening is great and it uses one of my favorite songs (if not my absolute favorite) of all time.

Overall, Mahou Shoujo Lyrical Nanoha is alright. It can be boring sometimes (because of the generic plot) and not everyone will enjoy it but it's alright.

Mahou Shoujo Madoka Magica

Oh man.....right off the bat I'll say that this anime will get you depressed at episode 3. I've never seen a more sad and tragic anime. The ending can be considered a happy moment for some people but I don't think it's a happy ending. The animation/art style is very unique. I like that. For a magical girl anime the plot sure is nice but like I said the way the story develops..so sad and tragic. The characters are cool and they are somewhat unique in their own ways (excluding maybe Sayaka and Kyoko). The Opening is great but I don't think it fits the series.

I really don't know if this anime is worth watching. If you think you can handle the sad and tragic stuff go ahead and watch it because it's quite unique for a magical girl anime. But if you don't think you'll be able to handle the sad stuff then you might wanna skip this one.

To LOVE-Ru Series

Note: This review is for all 3 of the To LOVE-Ru animes.

Basically this series is a fan service fest with some comedic/romantic moments here and there. There's nothing unique about the characters (except maybe Lala). They're pretty fun to watch though. The plot is kinda unique..sorta..but it's very irrelevant in Motto To LOVE-Ru and To LOVE-Ru Darkness. A lot of the episodes in all 3 of the animes are very filler-ish and they rely on fan service which is bad because that way the plot is very irrelevant and unused. The comedic moments can be repetitive as well. The Openings/Endings are all cheerful and fun to watch/listen to.

The OVAs are pretty much like the animes. You won't really feel any differences between them.

If you don't like fan service I definitely recommend that you ignore this anime. If you're okay with fan service and filler-ish episodes go ahead and watch it. You'll probably laugh several times here and there.

Naruto Series

Note: This review is for both Naruto and Naruto Shippuuden

Who does't know Naruto right? The original Naruto overall is amazing but it has one big flaw. 100 of the episodes are just filler arcs. Now some of you might say they're not bad filler arcs and I kinda agree with that. But it doesn't mean they are not irrelevant to the main story. The animation in Part 1 is fine. I don't think it stands out in any way. It's just fine. There's a ton of characters. Some of them are boring/lame and others are unique and very enjoyable to watch. Most of the Openings are cool. Same with the endings.

Naruto Shippuuden is a continuation of the original Naruto anime. Some people don't think it's as good as the original and I agree to some extent. The animation in Shippuuden at times can be a lot better than in Part 1 but it can be worse as well. There's a lot of filler in Shippuuden as well which is also a downside. Another thing that is both good and bad about Shippuuden is the fact that some of the characters get a good amount of character development while the others start being irrelevant and are rarely used. The Openings and Endings in Shippuuden are in my opinion better than the ones in the Original Naruto.

Overall, I think the entire series is definitely worth watching. To this day it remains my favorite anime simply because I've been following the Naruto franchise since I was a kid (and because it has a great plot/tons of cool characters of course).

OreImo

Note: This review is for both seasons of the series.

If you can't recognize this anime by the short name the full name is Ore no Imouto ga Konnani Kawaii Wake ga Nai. The plot is alright but for people who think incest (family romance) is completely wrong it can be very lame, gross and uninteresting. Also the ending of the series can be lame for some people. Some of the characters are very stereotypical (for example Ayase is your typical tsundere) but you can still enjoy them. The animation is good. The Openings are pretty damn good (ClariS <3).

If incest creeps you out and you don't like it then I would suggest staying away from this anime. If you're alright with it then go ahead and watch it cause it's quite enjoyable.

OreShura

The full name of this anime is Ore no Kanojo to Osananajimi ga Shuraba Sugiru. While the main female Eita character is annoying as fk the main female character Masuzu is similar to him but for some reason I enjoyed watching her quite a lot. I guess it's because she's kinda evil at times and it's fun to watch how her plans unfold. Excluding Masuzu the other characters are kinda boring. The plot is alright. The animation is also alright (Masuzu's hair is so cool). the Opening and Ending are cheerful/cute songs but they're not memorable in any way.

OreShura is a decent anime but not an amazing anime. If you're really into harem/romantic comedy animes then you'll enjoy it. If not you can skip it.

Photokano

A very weird anime. Excluding the first 4 episodes the rest of the episodes all have a story of their own. Gosh, I dunno how to explain it. The first 4 episodes introduce the characters. Episodes 5 and 6 show how the main male character falls in love with the main female character. After Episode 6 every single episode features an alternate ending where the main male character falls in love with a different girl. I hope I explained it properly lol. So yeah that's why this anime is very weird. I feel like it's too short. It has a total of 13 episodes which isn't much considering they wanted to pair the male lead with all of the girls. The animation is alright. The Opening is....meh..they could have done a better job with the opening.

Overall, Photokano is not as enjoyable compared to other romantic comedy animes. The character aren't very interesting (especially the main male character). The whole anime is just too short for what it has. If you want to casually watch something without worrying too much about the plot, characters and length then go ahead and watch it.

Rosario to Vampire series

Note: This review is for both season of the anime.

I feel like they overused the fanservice/comedic moments in this anime. The plot is actually pretty interesting. But most of the episodes have either too much fan service or too much overused jokes. In my opinion that's where this anime falters. The female characters are quite fun to watch (especially Moka) but the main male character Tsukune can be quite annoying sometimes. Both the Openings and the Endings are cool in my opinion. The animation is decent.

Rosario to Vampire can be worth watching if you don't mind fan service and you're not looking for a very serious story.

Sakurasou no Pet na Kanojo

Right after Naruto this is probably my favorite anime. Great plot, great characters, great music and great animation. What more can I ask for? For a slice-of-life/romantic comedy anime this one is truly amazing. Almost every character is unique and really likeable (especially Mashiro). I love pretty much everything in Sakurasou except maybe Sorata's complaining at times and the way Ryuunosuke treated Rita after she came from England to visit him for Valentine's Day.

Sakurasou is 100% worth watching. I think pretty much anyone can enjoy it a whole lot. Still waiting on a second season haha.

Shingeki no Kyojin

If you don't like gore you might wanna skip this anime. If you're okay with it then you'll love it. The plot is super good and very interesting. Some of the characters are a bit lame at first (Armin and Eren for example) but they improve over the course of the story. The animation is freakin beautiful! The music is also freakin amazing (that includes the Openings and the Endings).

A really great and awesome anime. The only reason it's not among my favorites is because I'm not into gore. I gave the anime a shot and it didn't disappoint me. You guys should too! I hope it gets a second season. It's definitely worth watching!

Sukitte Ii na yo

The title of the anime means Say "I love you". It has a lot of romantic/dramatic moments. The main female character Mei gets huge development over the course of the story. From a total shut-in who doesn't speak to people she develops into a person who isn't afraid of speaking up and showing her feelings (she's still a bit shy sometimes). The main male character Yamato is also very cool. He's very famous and lots of girls like him but he's not a snobby show-off who abuses his popularity. He's a kind, outgoing and dependable guy.

The story is very basic but it's good enough for a 13 episode romance/drama anime. The animation is pretty good. The Opening is kinda weird and slow but it does fit the anime. The Ending is alright.

If you're a fan of romance animes you should definitely watch this one. It is short but it doesn't need to be any longer than it is. And if you're not a fan of romance animes but you're looking to get into them then this one is a great start. The plot is very basic, the characters are great/well developed and it's not too long (like I said just 13 episodes).

Sword Art Online

A very popular anime (especially among gamers) and for a good reason. It's very good. The plot is very unique (maybe not as unique nowadays since there are several virtual reality animes) and interesting, most of the characters are great (although some of them are kinda generic in certain aspects) and the animation is amazing.

One of the huge complaints by people who have watched the anime is that it gets boring after episode 14. I completely disagree and I think people are only saying that because they really like the world of SAO (the first game). I do agree that the first 14 episodes are more interesting than the other ones but that doesn't mean the Alfheim Online Arc is boring. I think the Alfheim Arc is pretty good with some problems here and there (Suguha can be annoying sometimes, the final fight with the main antagonist is a bit boring, etc). The music in the anime is damn good. I really liked Opening 2. Great song.

I definitely think Sword Art Online is an interesting and enjoyable series that is worth watching. And in my opinion both the SAO and ALO Arcs are good with the SAO Arc being a little better.

Toradora!

One of my personal favorites. Toradora for the most part is great. The animation is great. The music is awesome (crazy, enjoyable and fun Openings/Endings). The plot is great. The only downside to the anime is the fact that some of the characters are underused and/or don't get any character development. Minori is one of the underused characters. She is basically the cheerful/crazy character of the series which kinda makes her generic but she is always fun to watch and she can be serious when the time calls for it. Ryuuji (main male) is a character with pretty much no character development. From start to end he remains the same guy. Kind of a bummer to be honest.

Toradora! is totally worth watching and it is a very enjoyable series. I recommend it to anyone who is into romantic comedies!

Usagi Drop

Yes it is a slice of life anime and those types of anime aren't really exciting but Usagi Drop has a very interesting plot. It explores the dynamics between a foster father and his foster daughters. Both the main male and female characters start out as plain and boring characters but they get really good development. Daikchi (main male) has a lot of trouble taking care of Rin (main female) at first after adopting her but over time he learns how to take care of her and start being more caring and gentle. Rin isn't that mature at the start of the anime because she's quite young (6 years old) but she matures really fast over the course of the story.

The animation is alright but the art style is sorta weird. I don't really know how to explain it. If you watch the anime you'll see what I'm talking about. The Opening will surprise you at first but if you watch it a few times you'll realize that it's appropriate for the series. The Ending is fine.

Overall, Usagi Drop is a very good slice-of-life anime. It is definitely unique and worth watching.

WataMote

The full name is Watashi ga Motenai no wa Dou Kangaetemo Omaera ga Warui. At first it starts out as a hilarious anime. There's tons of funny moments. The animation is great. The Opening is really really good. The Endings is cool too. You really wouldn't expect a slice-of-life anime to be so good in almost every aspect.

You'll realize the downside of the anime as you keep watching it. If you warm up to Tomoko (the main character) you'll start disliking some of the later episodes because it feels like the author is taking pleasure in torturing her. Some of the jokes can be kinda cruel even if the author tries his best to portray them in a comedic way.

If you don't like it when your favorite characters suffer I wouldn't suggest watching the anime because you might hate it at the end. If you don't care too much even if your favorite character is getting tortured then go ahead and watch it because it has a lot of funny moments (and a lot of WTF?! moments).

OreGairu

Full name is Yahari Ore no Seishun Love Comedy wa Machigatteiru. This anime will be a bit hard to understand if you're not that smart simply because it shows the way teens (in school) think and it explores the psychology behind their actions. The plot is easy to understand though. The main character Hachiman Hikigaya is this dude who has a grim outlook on life and youth and is pretty much a loner with no friends and no girlfriend. His teacher makes him join a public service club with the school's most beautiful girl Yukino Yukino****a and eventually Yui Yuigahama (a classmate of Hachiman) joins them as well. After that the anime is pretty much about their adventures as a club and the growth of their relationships with each other.

The characters are very interesting in their own ways. The music in the anime is pretty good. What I really like about the anime is that it makes you think and use your head to understand what's going on. I think that's what separates this anime from other romantic comedies.

I wouldn't recommend OreGairu if you don't want complicated explanations and/or situations. But if you don't mind any of those then watch it for sure because it's a great anime with some very interesting characters.
