Champion Design Review: Featuring Quinn

Hey MOBAFire and welcome to another blog post of mine. Well, as an aspiring game designer I decided to analyze designs in other games and League of Legends is one of them. I won't just cover champion designs but also other aspects such as Roles, Wards, Items and perhaps even the Maps. Also, don't expect just League of Legends designs. I will also discuss other games such as Skyrim, Civilization, Legend of Zelda, etc.

Anyway, my first blog will cover Quinn, Demacia's Wings. Why isn't she popular and what's with her design? I picked her because she's one of the newest champions who remains incredibly unpopular and perhaps a little weak despite given heavy buffs. My goal here is to understand her design better and make people like you understand it as well. Perhaps you even become a Quinn player yourself after this. Alright, cool subject right? I certainly like to think so. Personally, I love to actually get into that and am actually working on a project of my own including programming my own Game Engine. However, that isn't actually the subject of this blog. This morning, or afternoon rather because I mean come on, why wake up in the morning if you don't have to, I took a look at the newspaper and read an interesting article regarding outsourcing.

Now outsourcing in general is something that I dislike but right now I figured I'd try it. Now don't worry, not asking you guys to write a cool algorithm for me or an AI agent based on Artifical Neural Networks but I've decided to set up my own forum/community that revolves around Game Development and Design. Issue: I don't have a name yet. Names I did come up with are already taken, the url, that is.

Alright, so a couple of things have happened lately, and then I'm not talking about this guy's blog (right -_-) but I'm talking, of course, about the way Yannis gave a definition to MOBAFire I did not hear before. Sure it might me being incredibly naive but there's something more serious going on in my opinion. Also, don't get me wrong, I'm just trying to understand what is happening to this community I'm part of just in the same way as mankind is trying to unveil the mysteries of the universe. I'm not hating in any way, okay maybe a little but still that shouldn't supress the actual message that much. If it does, apologies are made for the fact that you can't let anything go.
