Hello everybody!

Today I would like to talk about taunting stuff I recently tried out, and got some results. Firstly I must admit, it was not my idea, I just groomed it a little.

Some time ago, wile playing pvp, one player used /l command any time he killed someone on my team, or if they destroyed our tower. For first few minutes it was pretty annoying, until I realized that this is what he was aiming at. I tried to ignore it, but it was really hard.

Later on I tried this tactics myself. And it works!

I started to "laugh" any time me and my ADC managed to get a kill in lane or if I was successful in poking and denying CS. Soraka has a really good taunt. There is nothing better, than after winning a lane fight or get kills with a help of our jungler, to use her /t so they all can hear: "Do you always fight so poorly?" And then use /l to finish them off, while my ADC is farming free waves of creeps. Draven's "Too easy." is also a godlike taunt.

The results really surprised me.

So many people get annoyed by this and start playing much worse than before. Their first mistake is that they start to focus me, the support, in every teamfight. It means one or sometimes two people focusing me, instead of our ADC or mid player, who deals real damage. And so we win. I may die sometimes, because of the focus, but trading dead support for their dead adc and other team mates, is a good one I think.

Their second usual mistake is, tehy try to do the same to me and my team mates. But it is not that easy. I think some of them don't have a key shortcut for laugh (or don't know where it is) so they have to hit ENTER, /, t and ENTR again. And if I notice this, I banana and Starcall them so much, they have to retreat (while listening to my laughter :D). Also this "counter-taunting" doesn't work if they are loosing. It is ridiculous if we are in their base, killing inhibs, and they start to use "laugh". Plain silly.

Even with shortcut for those commands you have to be careful. I never taunt good players, as I am not master of this psychological warfare, and taunting means you have to stop and press a key, that is not ability-related. So you are voulnerable for any attacks, if you are not careful. Also I don't want to annoy good players, since I enjoy playing against them.

Last but not least part of this mind game is taunting them in chat. I was able to taunt many troll-like rage kids to loose their game just with some harmless jokes or taunts I typed in chat. First giveaway to their voulnerability is usual stuff like:

"All report X for Y" , "Our X noob idiot, report him" This clearly says team spirit has some cracks and if you can use it against them, you may raise your chances of winning. We all know how a team spirit is important. Another giveaway is a direct insult. Anytime I see in chat something like "**** you soraka" I know I am free to taunt, because that kid is getting pissed of. Maybe is my heal, silence or just pure banana power... I don't care. When we force them out of lane, I always type in something like "run, Forrest, run!" or "don't go, more bananas for you, kiddo"

Some of them get so annoyed, they start verbally abuse me, or type in whole walls of text. While doing that, they don't play so we enjoy 5v4 game and I chat to my team to push some lane. Some kids go so far they just stop in the middle of the map to type some insult for me, just to be picked up by my team mates, who happen to wander by. It is really funny to see in chat something like "fu idiot i hope you geqwwwqdr" and a few seconds later you hear about your teammate killing an enemy - the one that was typing. Because as we all now - you can't use your abilities while typing :D

I must admit I enjoy taunting and pissing off rage kids. Sometimes it is great fun, but you have to be careful not to get carried away, stay focused on your objectives (mine is to keep ADC and others alive) and of course - not to take it too far.

I never abuse them with swearing, insulting their parents or such. I limit myself on their noob gameplay, their rage and toxicity, or just pure in-game taunt and poke. And when their own team mates join and start laughling at them openly, my mission is complete. :)

Did you guys ever tried this in game? What are your experience? Or - do you have any tips and tricks on how to bring this to perfection....? :P
