Well I tried to play a ranked just now and everything was going good, mid was called and even though I was first pick I was courteous and called top since I am good at both (usually), then my second pick starts raging about me going top because he mains it and then when our time to pick comes he instalocks tryndamere (reminded me of the song) and starts abusing the **** out of me and the guy who called mid. I remember now that I don't avoid ranked because of the baddies that can't play because as long as they don't troll I should be able to carry them if I actually deserve to climb, I avoid ranked because of the trolls and flamers that ruin the games because they don't get their main role (I hardly ever get my main ****ing role and I don't troll) and then if someone relents you figure out the hard way that they actually suck at their main and you are stuck with a role you can't carry from because it's your 3rd choice or something like that.

Well I know people probably won't care but I had to vent.

I can play all roles at a level above my current elo/division rank and I say mid or top pref every time but if I am 4th pick or lower I add fill into that in case mid and top are taken, just because I can play all roles doesn't mean I try to.

Edit: also if I am in this ranked team and when I play support from now on its gonna be someone that can act as a second ap carry like lux so i can carry if my team is only decent or worse.

Being able to play every role is a non-factor if you can't well any of them at above-average -level. As a support mainer, there's a clear difference between someone who randomly plays the position amongst all others, and someone who actually regularly plays it. A huge difference. And a good support can carry games single-handedly.

It is honestly better sticking with 2-3 roles. This way you can honestly learn each role thoroughly and focus your expertice fully.

I can't see why people can't play every role. I'm the ******* Co-op Queen and I can play every role. Sure, I'm not creative in top or jungle (meaning jungle is my worst, since I can only play well in jungle, with and instabans as backups). My mid is lacking simply b/c I only play utility mids (, ) and need to learn a burst-mid for better variety, but I can definitely lane against other mid-laners (except and the rarer ones, since my friends have never played against me as those champions). I can play well enough in the lane (or jungle) to at least get some CS and harass in, even if I can't dominate it. That's what wards and ganks are for anyways, especially when I've got an assassin jungler.

@MissMaw I can do every role decently and I might even be the support main for a 5's team, it is expected in bronze that you can play at least 3 spots well so you have 2 fall backs in case your main is taken. That being said people usually lie about not being able to do certain roles to get what they want like me with support in yoloqueue. Fun fact, the average bronzie can only play 1 or 2 spots and then sometimes not even do them properly and yet they abuse people for saying they aren't good at a role that they get forced into, if you ever feel like some hypocrisy play on NA its great for it.

@DKitten I dislike and by that I mean I can't play him for ****, I mistime his ult every time and I find yi and xin more fun in the 'oh boy I hope I can right click the enemy to death without getting focused' playstyle.

Pro tip: Tell the person who raged that he SHOULD be able to play EVERY role well. Now may not be the best time to learn, but jungle can work for counterjungling (fast clear time).
