Rankup is the type of website where people believe their too good for and I can understand that. If you say the words "stats" to players, people start to think graphs and difficult information to understand. I completely understand that but Rankup is a little bit different. It's in my eyes, far more useful than any stats tool out there.
Rankup is a ranked dynamic stats tracking website, which is aimed to help identify weaknesses the player has. We allow the player to put in their summonername and then let them check whatever metric they would like to check to see how well they do within that metric. We added an average which allows a player to make sense and comprehend the information/stats which he has selected. This allows the player to understand how well he is doing versus the average person and therefore allows one to create his own conclusions about his ability to play League of Legends.
What you see is Dyrus's rankup profile which allows you to find out how he's been doing. On the left, I've setup the filter to filter out his last month to only show when he played top lane with solo laners roles. I've allowed the filters to check all champions so what you see is what Dyrus's KDA with only top lane champions.
This would allow him to know if his KDA was good or not with his champ pool he played with. It's that simple. If he wanted to check his Hecarim top lane metrics for example, minions kill per minute, he could do that. It would allow him to know if he's killing enough minions per minute versus the average player. If he is, he can question how to do it better but if he's not, he's got to question why he's not doing well. Simply it allows you to know what you are doing but then to question why it's happening and how to get better. The aim for rankup is for players to get better in League of Legends.
Rankup can be the first step for any player to get better as long as you play the ranked environment. We believe that if more people are critical about themselves and and not concentrating how others should be playing, we'll find less toxic behaviour and more critically minded players on themselves. We never take away from using websites such as Mobafire which can help a person progress after knowing they need help.
We believe Rankup is going to be one of the best tools around to help players get better because they want to in League of Legends. We're still adding a lot of tools but right now, if you are below any of the metrics, you need to learn why you are below it. We allow you the freedom to make that choice. It's really up to you but the facts do play it's role.
