Karthus: Oh...thought they were actually gonna give him a remake. Aw well, new graphics can't hurt.

Braum: *sigh* This brings me back to champions like Shen and Mundo who are, or were, considered really strong for a very long time. Braum is a purely defensive champion; he is only as strong as the players and champions fighting alongside him, and has little to no capability to do anything by himself. Going by that, Braum was not op or broken; he may have caught a lot of people by surprise in game with his utility, but Braum himself is not as powerful as everyone thinks he is. Maybe since he's getting nerfed, people will actually trying fighting against him (rather than banning him) so that they'll learn Braum's actually not broken, and then maybe this nerf'll be undone. But I'm not sure...with the way this seems to be going, I don't have high hopes that'll actually happen. Other than that, I think the nerf is (mostly) targetting the wrong part of his kit anyways; his damage was low to below average when he was released, so cutting his base AD by 3 and his Q damage by 20 doesn't really mean anything except that Riot wanted to kick the moustache where it was already hurt. The W nerf is more of what was needed; I mean hell, we've seen how far Taric's aura got cut down so if you look at the armor and MR that Braum's W was giving pre-nerf you should understand why that is getting trimmed.

Kassadin: Kass is in a weird place right now. After all the changes, his early game now actually exists; he's not just that purple guy with blade in his arm that gets ****ped on for 5 levels while just silencing you anymore. But with that now being better, Kassadin's scale up from mid to late game seems to take an eternity, so the once God tier roamer really does need help to get kills from ganks now. With that in mind, the W nerf is kind of a tossup; nerfing the AP scaling and the rank scaling of the W will make Kass' late game powerhouse take even longer to reach again, however they didn't take away any of his early game so he should still be able to get there (relatively fine). For continuity's sake though, I think Kass should keep his base movement speed at 350 though. Every melee assassin in the game has generally better than average move speed so they can keep up with targets. Bringing Kass down to 340 again makes him barely any faster than a lot of long range casters, which is basically like a giant middle finger to Kassadin saying that he doesn't deserve to be considered a melee assassin.

Kha'zix: Dear Lord, more headaches to be had with yet even more Kha'zix changes. Basic Q got nerfed hard, which considering Kha'zix is an ASSASSIN who relies on his ABILITIES and NOT HIS AUTO ATTACKS means he's now probably gonna be the worst champion for doing his job until he evolves his Q. Evolved Q is going to do a lot more, BUT only if they are isolated AND made all of the Q damage based off of Kha's bonus AD (no more % missing health). W now does bonus damage to monsters, solidifying that Riot only wants to see Kha in the jungle and nowhere else, and the damage reduction while stealthed is completely gone. So all in all, Kha'zix now needs to evolve his Q to have a chance of cutting a roll of toilet paper in half and is now becoming a more aggressive Shaco (i.e. his Q changes are making him worthless in team fights...just like Shaco...because Shaco is worthless in teamfights). Well, congratulations Riot you did it! For the first time that I can remember, you have completely forced players wanting to play a certain champion, in this case Kha'zix, in one and only one type of role. Hope you're proud of yourselves. I don't know what else to say; he'll be fine for farming jungle because of the W buff, but his Q does so little damage to non-isolated targets that all people have to do is stand next to their minions with no fear to survive his ganks...it's not like Kha has any real survivability (thanks to the R nerf) so just don't isolate yourself and kill him when he pops his head out. Simple as that. Your lane opponent might have something to say about it, but if you're not at a high Plat or Diamond level of play that might not even matter.

Pantheon: Not sure why this isn't listed in the "Minor Changes and Bug Fixes category" since it is a bug fix, but now Pantheon can't be killed by a Cait ult after he's jumped into the air. Physics and logic for the win!!

Rengar: Bonus Q damage can no longer crit...not that huge of a change. Not much of a Rengar player personally, but I don't think crit chance was highest on the list for most Rengar builds anyways so people shouldn't be noticing this change too much. However, Riot is threatening to nerf him harder in the future with their ominous description: "We're very aware of Rengar's champion-eating capabilities (unlike the poor squishy targets he's surprising), but we're going to be watching how these changes / bug fixes affect the kitty before we take any larger action." Why? What's the problem of assassins performing assassinations in a game, in its own champion description page, has a filter for assassins?!? What's next, is Leblanc going to have her ult removed in a future nerf so that she can't double Q and E people for most if not all of their health? It's not like Rengar is even doing that well anyways; in ranked champion statistics on lolmatches.com (http://lolmatches.com/championstats/last5/R ) Rengar has only been maintaining a 47.68% win rate! He's already losing more matches then he's winning!! Why are you going to nerf an assassin who's already having a hard time getting the win for his team??? What the Hell Riot? This is the same kind of **** you were trying to do with Lee Sin when he was already losing more than winning as well! Did you not learn your lesson from last time?

Rumble: Again, more bug fixes in the wrong category. Moving on.

Soraka: EDIT: A couple people have pointed out that the response I have from Riot's statement, quoted below, is a bit overexaggerated, saying I have flown off the handle a bit in my response. They also say that Riot has not acknowledged whether or not Soraka is meant to only be a support or both a support and solo laner. While these are both valid points, I still feel that the argument I make is worth noting until Riot makes a decision about the matter at hand; until that is done, my response, and the debate that it brings up, shall not be rewritten, recanted or edited in any way so that the people viewing this forum post may ponder the matter themselves. If that brings up an issue with any of you, then know that your arguments and objections have already been heard.

Now this is the change that really grinds my gears. Quoting Riot's own description: "In our zeal to reduce solo lane Soraka's obnoxiousness, we kicked her a little too hard in the shins. These changes may not get her up to par, but we're committed to supporting her beyond these buffs." So this means that Riot wants to recognize that Soraka is both a support AND a solo laner, EVEN THOUGH in the VERY SAME PATCH they are forcing Kha'zix to be a JUNGLER ONLY CHAMPION. I've already discussed this above, but with Kha'zix's W directed buff and his nerfed Q Kha'zix will now effectively be a champion who can only jungle well. So why is it that Soraka, a menace who through a series of just...terribly stupid powerful buffs started to wreak havoc at all levels of ranked, is being considered by Riot as a multiple role champion while Kha'zix is getting forced into one and only one role? Sure, mid lane or top lane Kha'zix may have not been that popular. Sure, Soraka is a below average support by most peoples standards, even after her stupid buffs. Sure, Kha'zix is a terrifying bug while Soraka is a strangely attractive purple woman with a horn. But...ladies and gentlemen...but that does not mean Kha'zix should be treated with this level of intolerance, with this level of disdain, with this clearly obvious DOUBLE STANDARD being thrust upon him like a giant metal axe through some poor fellows upper torso. No...this is inexcusable, and I for one am not willing to accept this kind of injustice.

That's it. The rest of the past is a bunch more bug changes, updated Pentakill skins (no doubt to celebrate the new record released by the band of the same name), and an announcement for a new Quinn skin...like anyone cares about Quinn.

Thanks for reading!
