One of the more informative high ELO junglers I've run across, Edge, is back with another video on decision making around jungling. He hits a number of topics in a game where he had a non-optimal start with a Top laner that was behind from the get go. He plays the game well for the most part but illustrates a key decision point that likely cost them the game.

3 Camp Clear Same Side of Jungle + Back:

Can be useful if you are a jungler that commonly gets invaded or if for some reason you don't get a leash so you will be so low when you go to the opposite side of your jungle that if they do invade you there you are practically guaranteed to have to use a summoner to get away and/or die.

Uses Rengar as an example. Rengars will commonly clear their Red side jungle starting with Raptors > Red > Krugs > Back. This lets them come back to their Blue side jungle with a Long Sword and full health, which vastly increases their dualing potential.

Efficient clear or Buff then gank?

I've heard a couple of commentator's say clear the small camps and then your buffs so that you have the buff for longer, which is a form of efficiency.

But in the video Edge notices that Mid lane is skirmishing a lot so when he heads back after doing his 3 camp clear on his Blue side jungle because he didn't get a leash, he heads straight to his Red buff then he goes to Mid lane where he picks up a kill on Ekko when Ekko goes to ward the river bush.

Biggest thing about losing laners is to make sure they don't get dove.

7:30 in the video - Master Yi is spotted on a ward on Top side. So you have to ask yourself can he dive? Riven has no summoners. For the jungler the most efficient thing to do is to do a full clear to head to Top lane. But because of the diver threat, a full clear is not the best thing to do given the current game circumstances. You need to communicate to your Top laner that Master Yi is Top side and that she should ward the tribush behind her tower so that she can play around a likely scenario for a turret dive. If you think that you can win the 2v2 then you should immediately head Top to countergank.

To counterjungle or not counterjungle?

11:00 Edge discusses some options after the enemy team successfully dove Top. He figures from Master Yi's creep score that Master Yi skipped Krugs, in which case Edge could do Wolves and then head to the enemy Krugs in order to steal them and/or try to kill Master Yi who was fairly low after the gank. But his Bot lane is shoving so a likely scenario is that Master Yi backed to heal up and then is going Bot lane to try and relieve some pressure on his Bot lane. Point being that it is not always a good idea to counterjungle.
