★ Arcane Comet synergizes extremely well with Smolder's kit. This works well in early trades, especially botlane as its easy to proc with Smolders kit. Smolder has great early poke with this and it works well with an artillery mage support.

Manaflow Band

★ Manaflow Band is essential for early trades and potential kills pre 6, these helps the use of your abilities while efficiently comboing auto attacks. Smolder early game will rely mostly on his W for damage rather than that of late game item burst. You permanently increase your mana, up to 250 and once you reach that cap, you restore 1% of missing mana every 5s. Very good mana sustain.

Absolute Focus

★ Absolute Focus provides us with a standard nice increae to damage, AD or AP which works well with Smolder and his adaptive early game playstyle.

Scorch

★ Scorch adds that little bit extra damage that sometimes can make a big difference to securing a kill or not. If you think the game is going to be a late one, take Gathering Storm for the extra late game damage, as Scorch falls off. Most of the time scorch will always be the more efficient play as remember Smolder is an AD carry and relies on early damage rather than late. His itemization will make up for his late game damage.

Biscuit Delivery

★ Biscuit Delivery keeps us sustained easier in lane. Gain a new biscuit every 2 minutes up to minute 6, and each Biscuit restores 10% of missing HP and mana, and consuming (or selling) a Biscuit permanently increases your mana cap by 50. A small but substantial gain for a heavy mana user.

Magical Footwear

★ Magical Footwear is a fantastic buy on Smolder. It works well with kiting and that extra MS can be tilting to aposing laners late game. The boots are also free so its cost effective and allows Smolder to prioritise damage instead when buying item.

"Alternatively, Fleet Footwork synergizes with your Q ability, offering substantial sustain. While mana issues persist, starting with Doran's Ring and leveraging Presence of Mind can suffice until you acquire Essence Reaver, which further alleviates mana constraints. During the initial phase of the game, prioritize farming minions to accumulate stacks for Smolder Dragon Practice passive. Utilize his Super Scorcher Breath (Q) to target both minions and enemies, enhancing his strength. Maintaining safety is paramount; refrain from engaging in precarious skirmishes and position yourself behind your minions. Collaborate with your support to ensure protection from enemy threats.




As the game progresses, Smolder grows in strength. Continue gathering stacks to amplify his abilities. Employ Achooo (W) to impede enemies and deal damage to clusters of minions. Flap, Flap, Flap (E) serves as your means to evade threats or pursue adversaries. However, bear in mind that it doubles as your escape mechanism, so exercise discretion in its utilization.

In the late game, Smolder emerges as a formidable presence, capable of turning the tide of team clashes with his heightened abilities. Employ his ultimate, MMOOOMMMM!, to inflict substantial damage and hinder enemy movements, paving the way for impactful maneuvers.

Strategic positioning is paramount. Maintain a rear position during engagements to unleash Smolder's might while safeguarding yourself. Collaborate closely with your team to secure triumphs and assert dominance on the battlefield.

Mastering Smolder's tactics from the early to late game demands patience, dedication, and discernment in deciding when to intensify the pressure. Adhere to the Smolder Build, and guide Smolder toward triumph.

★ Beware of using your W, especially if the enemy hasn’t used their CC tool as you may get caught out while it’s on cooldown. ★ Ensure you get level 2 first so you can trade with the enemy. Take E at level 2 to potentially look for an early all-in. ★ Make the most of your Ultimate: Smolder's R can be sidestepped easily, leaving him open to enemy assaults. Utilize it strategically by activating it when foes have depleted their mobility skills or are immobilized by your support, gaining the upper hand in combat. ★ To use of your Passive: try to attack the enemy as much as possible to upgrade your Q early on. ★ Another important aspect to consider with Smolder's combos is that activating his E ability (the flying ability) will cancel flight if you press any other ability. Therefore, during combat, it's optimal to use your other abilities before activating E to ensure uninterrupted flight. ★ Optimize Your Range: Maintain maximum distance by positioning a minion between yourself and the target you're aiming to attack. ★ The size and brightness of Smolders horns indicate the number of stacks he has accumulated: the larger and brighter the horns, the more stacks he possesses. ★ Master Super Scorching Breath: Smolder's Q ability can stack up, becoming a potent source of damage. Prioritize maxing out this ability first as it can significantly enhance your damage output. Focus on stacking for his passive, as it plays a crucial role in maximizing his effectiveness. ★ Smolder can execute a Q flash or W flash maneuver, where the Q will activate from the new position, but the W will not. However, attempting an R flash to alter the direction of your R is ineffective. Avoid wasting your flash attempting this maneuver.
