In the begging the select the 1st attack or the 3rd, I personally choose the 1st, because it makes the enemy jump and the 3rd hit its a critical one, and it help us doing the first blood.
In game, you should attack from the behind with audacious charge to surprise them and then press in battle cry and 3 talon to make it faster and stronger and then use the ultimate, if they r running away, just use exaust.
