I rather use dodge runes over armor runes. It work so much better. My Build is same like yours for tank, but i'm using different runes. Armor/Dodge/Magic Resist and for Quin are Armor/Dodge/Magic Resist. It works out nicely actually.

I like armor from runes for early game. On tank spec you are lvling Slam quite frequently and the damage it deals is quite big. I must agree that later on, dodge>armor but i like to get some kills early game :)

Its always nice when you see ppl fear you and run away from 1v1 fights.

Lol, it's just funny because this one player was telling me "Stop dodging!" and I literally kept on dodging. The dodge is pretty nice, since you put "dodge" points in the mastery, might as well make good use of it adding more dodge. Runes/Mastery/Boot.. Hell, if you want more dodge add Phantom. It works like wonder.

dodge (if you are not jax) can only neglet physicals.
Armor is reducing that damage and also boosts my Ground Slam. Phantom dancer, well if you want to be more dps'ish and still maintain tank stats, it's ok.

Maybe it's my personal preference of things that dont occur by luck. I use dodge on dps'ers tho. I will look into that ofc and test it.

I can't seem to do any damage when it comes to tanking spec. Although, slam is great, I can't seem to do that much DPS after the slam. Do I run around like a maniac and wait for slam again because the cd is pretty damn long, especially when you're the main target. You can't always rely on Slam, but I do live forever though. You're pretty much useless if you can't do DPS and the only thing you can do is tank. The ultimate is so weak now. WTF, did they nerf Malphite? I used to own with him. He was my first champion I used and i'm trying to go back to him again, but failed many time trying to kill. Yes, I know.. i'm a tank... there must be a way I can do damage while being a tank.

You can play as ******ed op Shen if you want to tank 5 ppl and still do ALOT of damage.

You are doing damage with Ulti+Slam than u use Brutal Strikes. Splash damage and the dps is not THAT bad tbh. If you desperatly need damage you could always get Martred Bloodrazor or Atma Impaler.
Both with Armor and quite good damaging ability.

Dont forget Thornmail. And mobs around that you accualy buff with your damage.

The last but not least thing are just Sunfires... get 2 of those and you can burn a bit :)

Malphie is a good tank but needs a team. If your team does 0 damage... than it's a fail anyway, and if you want to kill, than go with dps malphie :) He has a huge potential.

found a flaw in your skill build, you have seismic shard maxed at level 8, fastest lvl you can max it is level 9, great build.
