I am a big fan of "300: The movie" so the choice for my main champ was really obvious. I have been playing him for a very long time - even in the times he was just weak. After buff he became to be a real threat for everyone in early game.

This guide is divided into several parts. I hope you will enjoy it and find it easy to understand :) I tried to keep it as simple as possible cause noone likes to read 100 pages.

Panth is a true AD champ - we need damage, so 21 points in offense is self-explanatory. It's good to have some magic//physical resistances - here we got 6 points in defense. I decided to put remaining 3 points in Utilities.

Armor penetration for the damage, mana runes for insane early game harass. Spearshot is quite mana hungry. I used to have some flat mana runes, but in the late game those ones are far better. After many games I get convinced that it is better solution.

Cooldown reduction runes are not necessary because with items we got maximum possible cdr.

First you have to max out Spearshot . After the last buff it became OP. In conjunction with armor penetration - this skill rocks. Get it ASAP to lvl 5. When you manage to get some first kills in early game you will notice how powerful this skill is.

Put subsequent points in Heartseeker Strike. At 6, 11 and 16 spend points in the Grand Skyfall. Aegis of Zeonia is only for stunning your enemies so dont waste any single point till you got maxed out the rest.

Pantheon needs:

1. Damage
2. Cooldown reduction
3. Life (late game)

Explanation

1. Damage

As you noticed this build is focused on AD. You may be surprised why on earth there are Youmuu and Brutalizer in one build? The answer is simple - their passives STACKS. I mean here armor penetration. You should have around 65 armor pen when you got Youmuu and Brutalizer. Thats a lot - you just do almost full damage to every single carry. Just ambush someone using Spearshot + Aegis + HSS + activate Youmuu. Have fun :))

2. Cooldown reduction

When you got all these items you will have 40% cdr. At lvl 5 Spearshot is possible every 2.4 second and HSS hits every 4.5 sec. Not to mention about your ulti - you can get anywhere, anytime.

3. Life

At this stage you should have many kills with full stacked Bloodthrister. It would be great to save it somehow from loosing it. I prefer Warmog over Banshee , but here its your personal choice.

I played more less 500+ games with Pantheon. I listed below some valuable hints:

- At the beginning try to harass an enemy who has got no health potions - like champs with Doran's Ring or Blade. They will not manage to last too long and finally they will be forced to get back while you can still farm while keeping zone control.

- Don't hesitate to buy Health Potions! They cost nothing but I found them many times very useful (usually until I lvled up 8-9)

- In the early game just save up for 2 Long Swords and buy them ASAP. This will boost your Spearshot damage and let you to be a lane harass monster :)

- Learn to use your passive. It is AWESOME especially for tower diving. If it is active just throw a spear towards your enemy and go back. He will suffer while you will not.

- Avoid being the initiator of the fights. You will die FOR SURE within few seconds bringing no benefit to your team.

- Surprise your enemies with your ulti when they do not suspect it.

- Aegis of Zeonia is a great skill to break channeling spells like Nunu's or Fiddle ulti.

- People often underestimate Pantheon. They think he is "noob champ". Use this knowledge.
